Arrest Report- November 15, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Lance Haycock, Jr., 26, 615 Oak Heaven Lane, St. Martinville, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2018, at 7:09 am on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

-        Operating a motor vehicle not covered by security

-        Careless operation of a motor vehicle

-        Operating a vehicle in an unsafe condition

-        Operating a motor vehicle without a drivers license

-        Taking alligators during closed season

-        Speeding

-        No drivers license on person

-        Open container

A corrections deputy made contact with Haycock when he turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on active warrants for his arrest. Haycock was arrested on said warrants and incarcerated.  No bail was set.  

 

Donnie Joseph, 28, 106 Eastlawn Street, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2018, at 7:09 am for no drivers license, no insurance, and a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family.

Deputies patrolling the area of Highway 90 eastbound observed a vehicle following closely behind another vehicle. The deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Joseph. Through the stop, the deputies learned that Joseph did not have a valid drivers license or insurance on the vehicle. The deputies were made aware of an active warrant for Joseph. Joseph was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bail was set at $6179.79

 

Breanna Moore, 25, 1052 Highway 318, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2018, at 4:18 pm for speeding and driving under suspension.

A deputy traveling west on Highway 182 observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Moore. Through the stop, the deputy learned that Moore’s driver’s license was suspended. Moore was arrested and released on a summons to appear on January 30, 2019.

 

Francisco Garces IV, 29, 404 Catherine Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2018, at 6:50 pm on five warrants for failure to appear on the charge of expired motor vehicle inspection, possession of cocaine, no tail lights, driving under suspension, and switched license plate.

A deputy assisting with a traffic stop came into contact with a passenger in the vehicle, Garces. During the stop, the deputy learned of active warrants for Garces. Garces was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bail was set.

 

Justin Singleton, 29, 1008 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 14, 2018, at 7:52 pm for disturbing the peace (noise) and battery domestic abuse.

A deputy patrolling the area of Franklin responded to a location on Highway 182 at Highway 3215 for assistance with a disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Singleton and was told from officers that a witness said that Singleton had struck the victim during the altercation. Singleton was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bail was set.
