Arrest Report- November 20, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 54 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Edward Walker, 25, 11626 Willow Oak Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2018, at 4:55 pm for driving under suspension.

A deputy was dispatched to Highway 90 East in reference to a vehicle in the median. Upon arrival, the deputy observed the vehicle without a front tire in the median.  Sometime later, the deputy made contact with the driver, Walker, who had returned to the car.  Through the investigation, the deputy learned that Walker’s drivers license was suspended. Walker was arrested a released on a summons to appear on January 30, 2019.    

 

Victoria Cavalier, 19, 916 Highway 182, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2018, at 8:57 pm for theft.

A deputy was dispatched to a local business in Bayou Vista in reference to a theft.  Upon arrival at the business, the deputy made contact with store personnel and Cavalier. Cavalier admitted that she had taken several items the day before while in the business. Cavalier was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $1,500.

 

Danyelle Morgan, 33, 2483 River Road, Berwick, LA, was arrested on November 20, 2018, at 1:28 am for suspended drivers license, license plate light, and security required.

Deputies patrolling the area of Berwick observed a vehicle with no operational license plate light. The deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Morgan. Through the stop, the deputies learned that Morgan’s license was suspended and she didn’t have insurance on the vehicle.  Morgan was arrested and released on a summons to appear on January 30, 2019.
