St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Louis Bourque, 32, 30038 Highway 1, Fourchon, LA, was arrested on November 27, 2018, at 8:55 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of failure to enroll in batterer’s intervention program.

A corrections deputy working in booking discovered an active warrant for Bourque.  Bourque was arrested on said warrant and continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. No bail was set.

 

Rochelle Ruffin, 30, 111 Main Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 27, 2018, at 3:23 pm for driving under suspension.

Deputies were dispatched to a location on Highway 90 East in Bayou Vista in reference to a vehicle that was observed by a detective who failed to yield to the right lane of travel.  The deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with Ruffin. Through the stop, the deputies learned that Ruffin’s drivers license was suspended.  Ruffin was arrested and released on a summons to appear on January 30, 2019.

 

Davin Myers, 27, 1695 Duchamp Road, Broussard, LA, was arrested on November 27, 2018, at 6:36 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal trespassing and on a bond forfeiture.

A corrections deputy made contact with Myers when he turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Myers was booked on the warrant and incarcerated. No bail was set.

 

Joshua Roshell, 24, 2601 Silver Pine Boulevard, Shreveport, LA, was arrested on November 27, 2018, at 10:10 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine and for probation violation. 

A corrections deputy made contact with Roshell when he was escorted by his probation officer to  the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Roshell was booked on the warrant and incarcerated. No bail was set.

 

Anthony Ackman, 37, 8931 Highway 182, Centerville, LA, was arrested on November 27, 2018, at 11:27 pm for battery domestic abuse.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in reference to a domestic disturbance complaint. Through an investigation, the deputy was provided with information from witnesses concerning Ackman striking a victim. The deputy made contact with Ackman and transported him to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. No bail was set.
