St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 37 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Elizabeth Jones, 55, 108 Felterman Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 28, 2018, at 2:53 pm on three warrants for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, hit & run driving, careless operation of a motor vehicle, disturbing the peace while intoxicated (x2).

A deputy was sent to a residence on Felterman Street in reference to an active warrant for Jones. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Jones and advised her of the warrant.  Jones was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Jones was released on a personal surety bond.

 

Constance Bertrand, 30, 3050 Fifth Street, Berwick, LA, was arrested on November 28, 2018, at 5:31 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.

A corrections deputy made contact with Bertrand when she was turned in on a bond forfeiture at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Bertrand was arrested and incarcerated. No bail was set.
