Arrest Report- December 14, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 37 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Christen Brown, 38, 1039 Highway 70, Pierre Part, LA, was arrested on December 13, 2018, at 10:44 am on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and simple battery.

A deputy was informed that a subject with active warrants was in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office.  Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Brown and transported her to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $20,000.

 

Brett Phillips, 28, 1329 Woodrow Street, Shreveport, LA, was arrested on December 13, 2018, at 5:12 pm for aggravated flight from officer, driver must be licensed, no insurance, switched license plate/stolen license plate, resisting officer or arrest.

Tommy Trosclair, Jr., 26, 200 Enterprise Avenue, Patterson, LA, was arrested on December 13, 2018, at 5:12 pm for resisting officer or arrest and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, disturbing the peace by fighting, and disturbing the peace by appearing in an intoxicated condition.

A deputy patrolling the area of Jeanerette was informed by dispatch that the Iberia Sheriff’s Office and the Louisiana State Police were in an active vehicle pursuit and had entered St. Mary Parish. The deputies joined the pursuit on Highway 90 Eastbound. The older model vehicle was occupied by two males and was traveling at speeds between 95-100 mph. Deputies coordinated and successfully deployed spike strips on Highway 90 near the Calumet Cut. After the vehicle came to a stop, both the driver, Phillips, and the passenger, Trosclair fled the vehicle on foot. St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies apprehended Phillips while Iberia Parish Sheriff deputies apprehended Trosclair. Both were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

Lacey Yates, 35, 109 Pecan Lane, Patterson, LA, was arrested on December 13, 2018, at 6:35 pm for battery-simple.

Juvenile female, 14, Patterson, LA, was arrested on December 13, 2018, at 7:08 pm for battery-simple.  

Deputies patrolling the area of Patterson were dispatched to a residence on Pecan Lane in reference to a disturbance complaint. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with the complainant who stated that she had been hit several times by Yates and a juvenile female. Through the investigation, Yates and the juvenile were arrested. Yates was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail for Yates was set at $2,500.

The Juvenile female was arrested and released to the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Chad Trammell, 56, 15424 Highway 182 Franklin,  LA, was arrested on December 13, 2018, at 10:52 pm for domestic abuse battery.  

A deputy patrolling the area of Franklin was dispatched to a residence on Highway 182 in reference to a domestic abuse battery.  Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim who stated that the victim had been in an altercation with Trammell. The deputies made contact with Trammell and questioned him. Trammell was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail for Trammell was set at $2,500.

 

Kaitlyn Franks, 23, 2745 4th Street, Berwick,  LA, was arrested on December 13, 2018, at 9:23 pm for stop signs and yield signs and driving under suspension.  

Deputies patrolling Bayou Vista observed a car committing a stop sign violation on South East Boulevard.  The deputies conducted a traffic stop and came in contact with the driver, Franks. During the stop, the deputies learned that Franks’ drivers license was suspended. Franks was arrested and released on a summons to appear on March 6, 2019.

 

William Hale III, 31, 2130 Becnel Street, Franklin,  LA, was arrested on December 13, 2018, at 10:52 pm for disturbing the peace intoxicated.   

Deputies patrolling the area of Franklin were dispatched to a residence on Becnel Street in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with Hale and spoke with him.  During the investigation, Hale displayed signs of being intoxicated. Hale was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Hale was released on $1,000 bond.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Kimber Nicole Thompson, 38, 324 Clarke Road, Bayou Vista,  LA, was arrested on December 13, 2018, at 7:15 pm for distribution of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone), possession of a CDS in the presence of a minor, and possession of drug paraphernalia.    

Raymond Miller, 29, 207 Vivian Street, Bayou L’ourse,  LA, was arrested on December 13, 2018, at 7:15 pm for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone), possession of a CDS in the presence of a minor.

Samantha Landreneau, 26, 465 Wilson Street, Patterson,  LA, was arrested on December 13, 2018, at 7:15 pm for possession of marijuana, violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone), possession of a CDS in the presence of a minor.

Kenneth Rollins, 28, 113 Dianne Lane, Patterson,  LA, was arrested on December 13, 2018, at 7:15 pm on a warrant for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Narcotics detectives conducted a search warrant at a residence on Clarke Road which is one block from Bayou Vista Park and Bayou Vista Baptist Church. During the search, detectives located meth, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana. It is noted that two minor children were in the residence during the investigation. Thompson, Miller, and Rollins were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set for Thompson, Miller, nor Rollins. Landreneau was arrested and released on a summons to appear on March 6, 2019.
