Arrest Report- December 19, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Raymond Chapman, 38, 316 Elm Street, Centerville, LA, was arrested on December 18, 2018, at 10:19 pm for possession of cds and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy went to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center to make contact with Chapman concerning drug paraphernalia belonging to him that was found at a residence. Chapman was arrested and given a summons to appear on March 6, 2019, and continues to be incarcerated.

 

Kane Thomas, 30, 103 Jena Street, Charenton, LA, was arrested on December 18, 2018, at 11:59 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family and operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled.

A corrections deputy made contact with Thomas at the St. Mary Law Enforcement and arrested him on said warrants. Thomas was incarcerated and bond was set at $42,060.40.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Graline Robertson, Jr., 23, 133 Charles Lane, Four Corners, LA, was arrested on December 17, 2018, at 5:32 pm for illegal window tint, improper display of license plate, possession of schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and transactions involving drug offense.

Detectives patrolling the area of Four Corners observed a small vehicle with dark tint and a license plate cover that covering information on the license plate. The detectives conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Robertson. During the stop, the detectives smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The detectives found marijuana, baggies, and a digital scale inside the vehicle. Robertson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Robertson was released on a $15,000 bond.

 

Dustin Burch, 24, 213 Hendricks Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on December 18, 2018, at 3:45 pm for possession of schedule I (marijuana) over 14 grams.

A detective made contact with Burch at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in reference to Burch having an active warrant for his arrest. Burch was arrested and released on a summons to appear on March 6, 2019.
