Arrest Report- December 27, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 45 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jason Lanclos, 44, 8549 Highway 90, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 26, 2018, at 2:54 pm for driving while intoxicated-3rd offense and driving on roadway laned for traffic.

Deputies were dispatched to a business in Centerville in response to a possible drunk driver. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with a man who described the driver and the vehicle he was operating. Deputies observed the vehicle leaving the business and followed. While following, the deputies observed the vehicle swerving erratically into the opposite lane of traffic. The deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Lanclos.  Through the stop, Lanclos was losing his balance and had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his person. The deputies conducted field sobriety in which Lanclos performed poorly. Lanclos was transported to the Franklin Police Department for testing on the Intoxilizer 9000 which testing his blood alcohol content to be 0.108g%. Lanclos was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Amanda Larive, 33, 113 Genevive Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 26, 2018, at 6:45 pm for possession of schedule II drugs.

A deputy was dispatched to a business in the area of Baldwin in response to a suspicious acting person. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a person later identified as Larive. During the investigation, drugs were found on Larive’s person. Larive was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Crystal Hartman, 36, 603 Taft Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on December 27, 2018, at 10:05 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle without a license on person, and possession of alcoholic beverages in vehicle.  

Deputies were handling a complaint of a reckless driver when they made contact with Hartman. The deputies learned of an active warrant for Hartman. Hartman was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Hartman was released on a $7,500 bond.
