Arrest Report- January 24, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Kevin Dore, 21, 731 David Drive, Patterson, LA, was arrested on January 23, 2019, at 1:52 pm for theft.  

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista was dispatched to a local business in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with business personnel who stated that an employee performed a service on his personal equipment and charged it to the business without permission. The deputy made contact with Dore and during the investigation, Dore admitted that he had committed the offense. Dore was arrested and released on a summons to appear on April 4, 2019.

 

Surface Dural, 33, 719 Belanger Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 23, 2019, at 4:41 pm for no headlights, driving under suspension, and on an active warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and fail to honor a written promise to appear.   

A deputy patrolling Amelia observed a vehicle traveling east towards Siracusaville with a non-operable headlight. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Dural. Through the stop, the deputy learned that Dural’s license was suspended and that there was an active warrant for his arrest. Dural was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Dural was released on a $1,615 bond.

 

Dustin Boudreaux, 28, 1114 Levee Road, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 23, 2019, at 6:46 pm on a warrant for unauthorized use of a movable.   

A deputy located Boudreaux at a residence on Third Street in Berwick and advised him of a warrant for his arrest. The warrant stems from an incident on January 7, 2019, in which a local business had equipment missing from the business. Through the investigation, it was learned that the equipment was moved to a location by Boudreaux.  Boudreaux was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail had been set.

 

Brannon Romero, 38, 8074 Scoop Road, Maurice, LA, was arrested on January 23, 2019, at 8:41 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of simple criminal damage to property, careless operation of a motor vehicle, possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle, and operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled.   

A corrections deputy made contact with Romero at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center when he was brought in on a bond forfeiture. Romero was booked on the warrant and incarcerated. Romero was released on a $2,500 bond.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Rachel Fabre, 33, 223 Palmer Street, Berwick, LA, was arrested on January 23, 2019, at 12:43 pm on a warrant for the following charges:

-Driver must be licensed

-Following vehicles

-Distribution of schedule II CDS (methamphetamine)

-Possession of schedule II CDS (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute

-Possession of schedule IV CDS (alprazolam)

-Possession of schedule IV CDS (clonazepam)

-Possession of schedule I CDS (marijuana)

Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Section were patrolling the area of Patterson when they observed a vehicle driven by Fabre who held an active warrant for her arrest.  The warrant stems from an incident on December 10, 2018, in which a traffic stop involving Fabre spawned an investigation which resulted in the warrant being issued for her arrest. Fabre was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.
