Arrest Report- January 30, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Misty Gaudet, 31, 700 4th Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 29, 2019, at 1:11 pm for driving under suspension.  

A deputy conducting a crash investigation made contact with Gaudet and was advised by dispatch that Gaudet’s driver’s license was suspended. Gaudet was arrested and released on a summons to appear on April 4, 2019.

 

Priscilla Lovell, 42, 406 Wedell Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on January 29, 2019, at 3:16 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace-offensive words.

A deputy conducting speed enforcement on Highway 90 in Amelia observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Lovell. During the stop, the deputy was advised by dispatch of an active warrant for Lovell. Lovell was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Lovell has been released on a completed sentence.

 

Anthony Ackman, 37, 213 Darwin Road, Centerville, LA, was arrested on January 29, 2019, at 7:46 pm for driving under suspension and no headlights.

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a vehicle pull into the parking lot of a local business without an operable headlight. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Ackman. Through the stop, the deputy was advised by dispatch that Ackman’s driver’s license was suspended. Ackman was arrested and released on a summons to appear on April 4, 2019.

 

Derrick Lee, Jr., 44, 261 Riverview Drive, St. Rose, LA, was arrested on January 29, 2019, at 7:46 pm for driving under suspension, possession of schedule I drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a vehicle traveling west on Highway 90 following too closely to another vehicle. The vehicle matched the description of a reckless driver complaint. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Lee. During the stop, the deputy smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The deputy was advised that Lee’s driver’s license was suspended. The deputy also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Lee’s possession. Lee was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $2,500.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Drake Lejune, 37, 138 Josephine Lane, Centerville, LA, was arrested on January 29, 2019, at 7:46 pm for possession of marijuana.

Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Section observed a male walking on Cypremort Road. As they passed the male, he ran towards the unit. Detectives exited the vehicle and spoke with the male, identified as Lejune. While speaking with him, detectives found marijuana in his possession. Lejune was arrested and released on a summons to appear on April 4, 2019.
