Arrest Report- February , 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 31 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Brittan Michael Boudreaux, 34, 3004 Lizabeth Drive, Morgan City, La, was arrested on February 6, 2019, at 5:59 am for Bicycle Lamps required, Resisting an Officer and Illegal Carrying of Weapons.

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista observed a subject riding a bicycle with no lights and no reflectors fail to stop at a stop sign. The deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the subject fled. The deputy continued to chase the suspect until he lost contact with the subject. The deputy collected the suspect’s backpack and bicycle and was advised that a Berwick Police Officer had apprehended the suspect on Canal Road. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the subject, identified as Boudreaux. Boudreaux had a knife on his person and tools in the backpack.  Boudreaux was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set. 

 

Steven James Morris, 32, 112 Degravelle Road, Amelia, La, was arrested on February 6, 2019, at 7:43 pm on a warrant charging him with Violation of Protective Order. 

A deputy received a complaint of Violation of a Protective Order.  Through the investigation, it was learned that the protected person was being harassed.  A warrant was issued for Morris for Violation of a Protective Order.  Morris was located later in the evening and arrested on the warrant.  Morris was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond was set at $2,500.

 

Darrell Wilson, 60, 1236 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, La, was arrested on February 6, 2019, at 11:26 pm for Driving under Suspension and License Plate lights required.  

A deputy patrolling the St. Joseph area observed a vehicle with no operable license plate light.  The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Wilson.  Through the stop, it was learned that Wilson had a suspended driver’s license.  Wilson was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on May 2, 2019.

 

Jevon Ray Lively, 27, 500 Domingue Street, Jeanerette, La, was arrested on February 7, 2019, at 12:47 am for Driving under Suspension and License plate lights required.

A deputy patrolling the area of Ralph Darden Memorial Parkway observed a vehicle with no operable license plate light.  The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Lively.  Through the stop, it was learned that Lively had a suspended driver’s license.  Lively was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond has been set at $1,250.

 

Nicole Jones, 33, 109 Jupiter Street, Lot 1, Bayou Vista, La, was arrested on February 7, 2019, at 1:59 am for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to secure compulsory insurance, Driving under Suspension, and Brake lamps required. 

Deputies were patrolling the area of Southeast Blvd observed a vehicle with no brake light.  A traffic stop was conducted and deputies made contact with the driver, Jones.  Through the stop, drug paraphernalia was located in the vehicle.  Jones was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond has been set at $3,000.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Justin D. Adams, 40, 239 Foxglove Drive, Patterson, La, was arrested on February 6, 2019, at 3:34 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of Possession Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Operating a Vehicle while intoxicated, Reckless Operation, and on a warrant for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Schedule III (Suboxone). 

Detectives observed Adams in a driveway on North First Street in Morgan City, La.  Adams fled on foot but surrendered a short time later.  He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.

 

Lia K. Lipari, 42, 220 Laura Drive, Patterson, La, was arrested on February 6, 2019, at 7:48 pm for Possession of Schedule II (Methamphetamine), Possession of Schedule I (Marijuana), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule III (Suboxone), and Violation of Uniform CDS Law in a drug free zone.

On February 6, 2019, detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Section conducted a joint investigation with the Patterson Police Department Narcotics Division at a residence on Laura Drive. The investigation was the result of complaints received by the Narcotics Section. Upon arrival, detectives made contact with Lipari and were given consent to search the residence.  During the investigation, drugs were found in the residence, which is within 2,000 ft. of a school.  Lipari was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.

 

Ryan A. Billiot, 38, Two Sisters Court, Bayou Vista, La, was arrested on February 7, 2019, at 2:10 am on a warrant charging him with Probation Violation and two counts of Criminal Neglect of Family. 

A deputy observed a male subject walking along Highway 182 on the fog line.  The deputy made contact with the subject, identified as Billiot and it was learned that there were active warrants for his arrest.  Billiot was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No Bond has been set.
