Arrest Report- February 14, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Aaron Joseph Price, 40, 200 Titan Dr., Lafayette, La was arrested on February 13, 2019, at 10:54 am on a warrant charging him with Failure to Appear.

Price was taken into custody from the Iberia Parish jail and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

Randy Pinkerton, 22, 213 Hendricks St., Patterson, La, was arrested on February 13, 2019, at 11:22 am for Possession of schedule I, Possession of drug paraphernalia and three warrants for Failure to Appear. 

A deputy patrolling the St. Joseph area conducted a traffic stop for speeding.  Upon investigation it was learned that Pinkerton had several Failure to Appear warrants for his arrest.  During the stop, the deputy located marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located in Pinkerton’s vehicle.  Pinkerton was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.

 

Lyndell Butch Brooks, 53, 3718 Gamlin Bend Dr., Houston, Tx, was arrested on February 13, 2019, at 12:35 pm on a warrant charging with him with Failure to Appear. 

Brooks was taken into custody from the Lafourche Parish jail and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

Tiffany Lynn Remedies, 29, 5340 Highway 90 West, Patterson, La, was arrested on February 13, 2019, at 2:34 pm on a warrant charging her with Failure to Appear. 

Remedies was escorted to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on a bond surrender.  Remedies was booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.  No bond has been set.

 

Breigh Lynn Doucet, 25, 2812 Veterans Memorial Dr., Abbeville, La, was arrested on February 13, 2019, at 6:52 pm for Possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a vehicle speeding.  The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was conducted.  Contact was made with the passenger, Doucet, who had drug paraphernalia in her possession.  Doucet was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on May 2, 2019.

 

 

Jeremy Paul Jordan, 40, 3906 Highway 70, Pierre Part, La, was arrested on February 13, 2019, at 7:54 pm for Disturbing the peace intoxicated. 

A deputy was dispatched to a business located on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista, La, to remove a subject who was causing a disturbance.  The deputy spoke with several witnesses who all stated the subject had caused a disturbance in the business.  The deputy located Jordan at another business nearby.  He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond has been set at $1,000.

 

Hilton Charles Abraham, 46, 307 Pickett Ln., Charenton, La, was arrested on February 13, 2019, at 11:10 pm for Turning movements and required signals, driving under suspension, Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, Possession of schedule I drug with intent to distribute, Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, Possession of Schedule IV drug with intent to distribute and Possession of Drug paraphernalia. 

Joseph Lumpkin, 56, 311 Martin Luther King Blvd., Franklin, La, was arrested on February 13, 2019, at 11:20pm for Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, Possession of schedule I drug with intent to distribute, Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, Possession of schedule IV drug with intent to distribute, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Probation Violation.

A deputy was patrolling the Baldwin area when he observed a vehicle turn without signaling.  The deputy conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Abraham and Lumpkin as the passenger.  A strong odor of marijuana was detected from the vehicle.  Upon further investigation, marijuana, crack cocaine, Xanax pills, Ecstasy pills and multiple items of drug paraphernalia were located. Both Lumpkin and Abraham were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set. 

 

Brook Louviere, 40, 4109 Willow Bend Dr, New Iberia, La, was arrested on February 13, 2019, at 11:56 pm for Driving while intoxicated and Careless Operation with an accident.  Louviere was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond has been set at $3,000. 

A deputy was dispatched to Highway 90 West in Calumet in regards to a single vehicle crash.  During the investigation, the deputy smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Louviere’s person.  A deputy conducted field sobriety in which Louviere performed poorly.  Louviere was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.

 

Narcotics Section

 

Caleb Guerrero, 28, 1414 South Rd., Bayou Vista, La, was arrested on February 13, 2019, at 3:13 pm for Resisting an Officer. 

Narcotics detectives were patrolling the Bayou Vista area.  They observed Guerrero, who held active warrants for his arrest from a neighboring agency.  Detectives attempted to make contact with Guerrero who began to flee.  After a brief struggle, Guerrero was arrested. Guerrero was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.
