Arrest Report- February 25, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 122 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Robert Keith Tillman, 52, 110 Baronne St., Franklin, La, was arrested on February 22, 2019, at 4:11 pm for driving under suspension. 

A deputy conducted a traffic stop on Main St. in Franklin.  Through the stop, Tillman was identified as the driver of the vehicle.  Upon further investigation, it was learned that Tillman had a suspended driver’s license.  He was released on a summons to appear in court on May 2, 2019.

 

Lee Paul Pierce, 35, 1822 Maple St., Morgan City, La, was arrested on February 22, 2019, at 5:35 pm for Domestic Abuse Battery.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Bayou Vista, La for a disturbance.  Upon arrival, minor injuries were observed on the victim.  After speaking with a witness, it was determined that Pierce had committed a battery on the victim.  Pierce was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

Brennan Tabor, 31, 1625 Chatsworth Rd., Morgan City, La, was arrested on February 23, 2019, at 2:00 am for possession of schedule II drugs and drug paraphernalia. 

Lacey Scully, 25, 607 Egle St., Morgan City, La, was arrested on February 23, 2019, at 3:11 am for possession of marijuana. 

A deputy patrolling the area of Highway 90 conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation.  Through the stop, the deputy made contact with the driver and occupants of the vehicle.  While doing so, the deputy could smell the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle, along with the passenger in the front seat.  The front passenger was identified as Tabor and the rear passenger was identified as Scully.  A K-9 unit arrived on scene and conducted a search of the vehicle.  The K-9 alerted to the odor of narcotics.  A container was located under the passenger seat containing methamphetamine and a clear short straw.  Marijuana was located in the rear passenger seat.  Both Tabor and Scully were placed under arrest.  Scully was released on a summons to appear in court on May 2, 2019.  Tabor was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement center.  Bond was set at $2,500.

 

Elijah Bradley, 24, 334 L Curve Dr., Houma, La, was arrested on February 23, 2019, at 12:12 pm for possession of marijuana. 

Daniel Michael Elliot, 19, 115 Cane Rd., Bayou Vista, La, was arrested on February 23, 2019, at 12:19 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia, two warrants for failure to appear and a warrant for theft and criminal trespass. 

Deputies went to a Bayou Vista, La, residence, in an attempt to serve two protective orders and locate a subject on outstanding warrants.  Contact was made with Elliot who was placed under arrest on said warrants.  During the arrest, drug paraphernalia was located on Elliot’s person.  While effecting the arrest on Elliot, there was another subject in the residence acting suspicious who was identified as Bradley.  A deputy observed Bradley reach into his pocket and pull out a small clear plastic bag containing marijuana.  Bradley attempted to conceal the bag.  Bradley was placed under arrest.  He was released on a summons to appear in court on May 2, 2019.  Elliot was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond was set at $3,900.

 

Eric Todd Lumpkin, 46, 500 Sweetbriar St., Lafayette, La, was arrested on February 23, 2019, on a warrant for failure to appear. 

A deputy was responding to a complaint of reckless driver near Centerville.  The deputy located the vehicle parked on the side of the road.  Upon making contact with the driver, he was identified as Lumpkin.  It was learned that there were active warrants for Lumpkin’s arrest.  He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond was set at $380.

 

Luis Javia Obregon, 36, 5009 Railroad Ave, 70, Morgan City, La, was arrested on February 23, 2019, at 7:34 am on a warrant for domestic abuse battery. 

A deputy went to a residence on Railroad Avenue in Morgan City, La, to serve a protective order.  Obregon was located at said residence.  He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond was set at $10,000.

 

Tyrone Anthony Breaux, 33, 1771 Airbase Rd., Pollack, La, was arrested on February 23, 2019, at 10:26 pm for driving under suspension and stop sign violation.

A deputy observed a vehicle run a stop sign on Highway 182 in Baldwin, La.  A traffic stop was conducted.  Through the stop, Breaux was identified as the driver.  Upon further investigation, it was learned that Breaux was driving under suspension.  Breaux was issued a summons to appear in court on May 2, 2019.

 

Lashana Renee Gibson, 35, 289 Easy St., Franklin, La, was arrested on February 24, 2019, at 5:15 am for hit and run. 

A deputy was dispatched to Easy St. for a vehicle crash.  Upon further investigation, the deputy located the suspect vehicle at a nearby residence.  Contact was made with Gibson, who was determined to be the driver of the vehicle at the time of the crash.  Gibson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond was set at $500.

 

Mandi Nicole Hatfield, 31, 1800 Main St., Patterson, La, was arrested on February 24, 2019, at 11:39 am on two warrants for failure to appear.

Hatfield was located at the Patterson Police Department.  She was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.

 

Harold Joseph Verdin, 43, 1310 ½ Lafayette St., Houma, La, was arrested on February 24, 2019, for battery of a correctional officer.

A deputy performing duties at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center was struck by an inmate identified as Verdin.  Verdin was then placed under arrest. 

 

Danielle L. Pellegrin, 33, 1717 Eraste Landry Rd., Lot 33, Lafayette, La, was arrested on February 25, 2019, at 3:37 am for failure to appear.

A deputy located a warrant on Pellegrin, who was already incarcerated.  Pellegrin was arrested and booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on said warrant.  Bond was set at $3,500.
