St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Kashif Jermaine Wallace, 30, 2602 Clines Ln., Lot 9, Amelia, La, was arrested on February 27, 2019, at 11:14 am on a warrant for disturbing the peace by fighting.
A deputy patrolling the Amelia area located Wallace on the active warrant. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond was set at $1,000.
Quintrell J. Feist, 25, 612 B. Pellerin St., Jeanerette, La, was arrested on February 27, 2019, at 11:36 pm on a warrant for failure to appear.
A deputy located Feist traveling in the area of Highway 182 in Sorrel. A traffic stop was conducted and Feist was identified as the driver. Through the stop, it was learned that Feist had an active warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond was set at $370.
Irene Jeanette Garcia, 25, 1320 Bank Ave., New Iberia, La, was arrested on February 28, 2019, at 2:24 am for failure to appear.
Garcia turned herself in on said warrant. She was booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Bond was set at $500.
