Arrest Report- March 12, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 41 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Male Juvenile, 16, Bayou Vista, La., was arrested March 11, 2019, at 6:35 am for ungovernable juvenile.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in Bayou Vista in reference to a disturbance.   Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the complainant who advised a juvenile male was causing a disturbance. The male juvenile admitted to becoming upset and arguing with his parents.  The male juvenile was released back to his father pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Nicole Hebert, 19, 201 Tamporello Ln., Franklin, La., was arrested March 11, 2019, at 11:28 am for leash law violation.

Deputies were called into the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Headquarters to handle a complaint about pit bulls running loose around the area of Tamporello Lane in Franklin. The deputies went to the above-mentioned residence and spoke with the owner of the pit bulls, identified as Hebert. Hebert stated she didn’t know about her dogs running loose around the neighborhood but did state she left the dogs unattended. Hebert was arrested and released on a summons to appear on June 19, 2019.

 

Davontraye Jacoby Johnson, 24, 710 Bush St., Morgan City, La., was arrested March 11, 2019, at 11:14 pm on three warrants for failure to appear on the charges of careless operation and driver must be licensed (x2).

A deputy made a traffic stop on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Johnson. A warrants check revealed Johnson had three arrest warrants from Morgan City Police Department. Johnson was transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.
