Arrest Report- March 14, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 29 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Stephanie Ann Yaris, 34, 1225 Railroad Ave., Morgan City, La., was arrested March 13, 2019, at 3:34 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for meth, failure to appear for possession of Diazepam, and failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Yaris was located at the Franklin Courthouse and arrested on the above-mentioned warrants. Harris was transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

Quinn O’Brant Lewis, 32, 1414 Cypremort Rd., Jeanerette, La., was arrested March 13, 2019, at 5:30 pm on a warrant for domestic abuse battery by strangulation and violation of protective orders.

Lewis was located at the Franklin Courthouse and arrested on the above-mentioned warrant. Lewis was transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

Rosella E. Voisin, 29, 3610 Lake Palourde Rd, Amelia, La., was arrested March 13, 2019, at 10:30 pm for brake lights required and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy patrolling the area of Duhon Blvd. near Barrow St. in Amelia observed a vehicle with a brake light cracked. The deputy then conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Voisin. After speaking with Voisin, the deputy asked if she had any illegal narcotics inside her vehicle. She gave consent to search the vehicle. Voisin was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Voisin was issued a summons for the above-mentioned charges to appear in court on June 19, 2019.
