Arrest Report- March 18, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 102 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Charlie Martin, 33, 853 Irish Bend Rd., Franklin, La., was arrested March 15, 2019, at 7:26 am for driving under suspension.

A deputy was dispatched to the area of Highway 83 in reference to a vehicle in a ditch. Upon arrival, the deputy located the driver of the vehicle identified as Martin. A background check revealed Martin had a suspended driver’s license. Martin was issued a summons to appear in court on June 19, 2019.

 

Brandi Leigh St. Pierre, 37, 408 Wayside Dr., Houma, La., was arrested March 15, 2019, at 11:52 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of Hydrocodone.

Pierre was located at the Terrebonne Parish Jail on the above-mentioned warrant.  She was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond was set at $2,500.

 

Ashley Monique Reaux, 26, 302 Patton St., Morgan City, La., was arrested March 16, 2019, at 12:54 am for stop signs and yield signs violation, possession of marijuana, and possession of cocaine.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Highway 182 in Morgan City when he observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and Reaux was identified as the driver. While speaking with Reaux, consent was granted to search the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle, marijuana and cocaine was located. Reaux was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond has been set at $2,250.

 

Lasondra Marie Colbert, 39, 188 South Penn Rd., Baldwin, La., was arrested March 16, 2019, at 10:59 am for battery-simple.

Deputies were dispatched to 188 South Penn Rd. in Franklin in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, it was learned that an argument had erupted over a t-shirt. Colbert told deputies she wanted two subjects removed from her residence.  While deputies were attempting to remove those subjects, Colbert ran up to one subject and punched her. Colbert was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond was set at $2,500.

 

Eno Joseph Domingue, Jr., 25, 247 Shell Beach Rd., Pierre Part, La., was arrested March 16, 2019, at 2:49 pm for expired MVI sticker and driving under suspension.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Duhon Blvd. near Highway 182 when the deputy noticed a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker. The deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as Domingue. A driver’s license check on Domingue revealed it was suspended. Domingue was issued a summons to appear in court on June 19, 2019.

 

Rodney Nixon Bowie, 41, 4418 Maplewood Dr., Sulphur, La., was arrested March 16, 2019, at 7:39 pm for speeding and driving under suspension.

A deputy traveling on Highway 83 observed a vehicle speeding.  The deputy then performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as Bowie. A background check revealed Bowie had a suspended driver’s license. Bowie was issued a summons to appear in court on June 19, 2019.

 

Andrew Akeam Stewart, 26, 266 Eves St., Lot #1, Jeanerette, La., was arrested March 16, 2019, at 11:54 pm for license plate lights required, resisting an officer by giving false information, resisting arrest or officer, possession of marijuana, and a warrant for failure to appear for simple battery.

A deputy patrolling the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Baldwin, La, observed a vehicle without working license plate lights. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. When the deputy was speaking to the driver, he admitted he did not have a valid driver’s license and he gave a false name to the deputy. The deputy then went back to his unit and while at his unit, he observed the driver exit his vehicle and run. After a short chase, the deputy caught the driver and he told the deputy his real name was Stewart. The deputy could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from Stewart’s vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana. A background check on Stewart also revealed he had an active warrant for simple battery. Stewart was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond was set at $5,500.

 

Davis F. Sonnier, 71, 121 Watson St., Patterson, La., was arrested March 16, 2019, at 11:59 pm for illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments.

Deputies were dispatched to 121 Watson St. in Patterson in reference to a subject shooting his gun outside. Upon arrival, deputies spoke to witnesses in the area who advised that kids were jumping in their backyard when Sonnier came outside and fired one bullet into the ground. Deputies made contact with Sonnier. He was issued a summons to appear in court on June 19, 2019.

 

Victor Mark Berthelot, Jr., 40, 5727 Hwy. 182, Franklin, La., was arrested March 17, 2019, at 1:11 am for domestic abuse battery.

Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at 5727 Highway 182 in Franklin. When deputies arrived, they made contact with two subjects. When questioning Berthelot, he admitted to committing a battery upon the victim.  Upon further investigation, there were physical signs of abuse present on the victim. Berthelot was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

James Lee Percle, 37, 375 Westside Blvd., #245, Houma, La., was arrested March 17, 2019, at 11:57 am on warrants for failure to appear for simple battery, simple criminal damage to property (under $500), and theft.

Percle was located at a local business in Amelia by a deputy who knew of the active warrants. Percle was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond has been set at $5,000.

 

Albert Tobias Stansbury II, 33, 703 Robicheaux St., Berwick, La., was arrested March 17, 2019, at 12:51 pm for an expired motor vehicle inspection sticker and warrants for Morgan City Police Department for no insurance and no vehicle registration,

 A deputy in the area of Duhon Blvd. near Highway 182 observed a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Stansbury. A background check on Stansbury revealed the above-mentioned warrants. The deputy also noticed Stansbury had an expired license plate. Stansbury was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond was set at $500.
