St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 19 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Kendrick Deshawn Wilson, 40, 107 East Long St., Baldwin, La., was arrested on April 3, 2019, at 6:31 am on a warrant for domestic abuse battery.

 

Wilson turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office on the above-mentioned warrant. Wilson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond has been set at $2,500.

 

Gilberto Alejandra Serna, 30, 1405 South Redford Rd., White Settlement, Tx., was arrested on April 4, 2019, at 6:02 am for disturbing the peace by fighting.

 

Branden Hennessey, 24, 97 Daniel Shays Hey, Orange, Ma., was arrested on April 4, 2019, at 6:26 am for disturbing the peace by fighting.

 

Deputies were dispatched to 111 Cajun Way Lane in Amelia, La., in reference to a disturbance and stabbing. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Hennessey and the victim. It was learned that a female had been stabbed.  While speaking with Hennessey, deputies noticed his t-shirt collar was ripped like he had been in an altercation. Hennessey and Serna were identified as suspects in the altercation. Both were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. The stabbing remains under investigation.  Bond on Serna and Hennessey is set at $1,000.
