Arrest Report, April 10, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Mandie Kay Haire, 37, 927 Tenth St., Franklin, La., was arrested on April 9, 2019, at 10:41 am on a warrant for failure to appear for trial on the charges of possession of amphetamine, possession of marijuana (14 grams or less), and possession of drug paraphernalia (1st offense).

 

Haire was located at her residence. She transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking on the above-mentioned warrant. No bond has been set.

 

Male Juvenile, 13, was arrested on April 9, 2019, at 12:28 pm for ungovernable juvenile.

 

A deputy was dispatched to a runaway juvenile complaint. The juvenile was located a short time later.  He was charged with ungovernable juvenile. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court action.

 

Antoine Leroy Reid, 27, 2001 Tenth St. D, Slidell, La., was arrested on April 9, 2019, at 12:39 pm for possession of stolen things and disturbing the peace by language.

 

A deputy was dispatched to Delmar Street in Bayou Vista, La., in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the complainant who stated the vehicle had been parked in front of the church for an extended period of time. After further investigation, it was learned the vehicle was stolen from Kenner, La. As the investigation continued, Reid was identified as the suspect. While Reid was being arrested, he began to use vulgar language towards the deputy. Reid was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

Kim Perry Connor, 42, 108 Jolivette St., Baldwin, La., was arrested on April 9, 2019, at 3:30 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for disturbing the peace by fighting.

 

Connor was located at the Baldwin Police Department.  He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking on the above-mentioned warrant. Bond has been set at $400.

 

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

John W. Menser, 39, 124 Judy Lane #6, Patterson, La., was arrested on April 9, 2019, at 2:27 pm on warrants from the Houma Police Department for obtaining a CDS by fraud (5 counts) and forgery (5 counts).

 

Narcotics detectives located Menser at 124 Judy Lane #6 in Patterson, La., on the above-mentioned warrants. Menser was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

Demetria Francis, 41, 217 Oliver St., Waveland, Ms., was arrested on April 9, 2019, at 5:15 pm on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia (1st offense).

 

Narcotics detectives were traveling on La 182 in Morgan City, La., when they observed a vehicle fail to use a turn signal.  Detectives conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Francis. A background check on Francis revealed the above-mentioned warrant. Francis was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.
