Arrest Report, May 2, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Remus Reuben Tardy, 34, 100 Tenth St., Baldwin, La., was arrested on May 1, 2019, at 11:21 am on a warrant for failure to appear for a hearing on the charge of criminal neglect of family.

 

Tardy was located at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin, La. on the active warrant. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond has been set at $780.

 

Dewellyn Dionysos Howard, Sr., 38, 429 Ninth St., Franklin, La., was arrested on May 1, 2019, at 8:33 pm on a warrant for failure to appear.

 

With the assistance of the Franklin Police Department, Howard was located at his residence on the above-mentioned warrant. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond has been set at $5,458.86.

 

Gregory Lawrence Clavelle, Jr., 32, 425 Ninth St., Franklin, La., was arrested on May 1, 2019, at 11:18 pm for driving under suspension.

 

A deputy observed a vehicle on Hwy. 182 west in Baldwin, La. make a right turn onto Ralph Darden Parkway without activating a turn signal. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, identified as Clavelle. A background check on Clavelle revealed he was driving under suspension. He was issued a summons to appear in court on August 28, 2019.

 

Rene Pratcher, Jr., 55, 1640 Painters St., New Orleans, La., was arrested on May 2, 2019, at 12:18 am for no license plate light, no headlights, and driving under suspension.

 

A deputy was stationary in the area of Barrow St. in Amelia, La. near Cashier St. when he observed a vehicle traveling westbound with an inoperable left headlamp. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and contact was made with the driver, identified as Pratcher. A background check on Pratcher revealed he was driving under suspension. He was issued a summons to appear in court on August 28, 2019.

 

Female Juvenile, 16, was arrested on May 2, 2019, at 2:12 am for ungovernable juvenile.

A deputy was dispatched to a call in reference to an ungovernable juvenile. The complainant reported that the juvenile left the residence.  Upon arrival, the deputy was able to locate the female juvenile. She was released to a guardian pending juvenile court action.

 

Seth Aurelius Kidder, 39, 118 Hebert Rd., Franklin, La., was arrested on May 2, 2019, at 5:35 am for battery of a dating partner.

 

A deputy was dispatched to 303 Chauvin Ln. Franklin, La. in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the complainant. The complainant stated she was hit by Kidder. Kidder was located at his residence. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Stella D. Behre, 42, 505 Brashear Ave., Rm 217, Morgan City, La., was arrested on May 1, 2019, at 7:08 pm for possession of schedule II drugs (methamphetamine) with the intent to distribute, possession of schedule III drugs (Subutex), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Narcotics Detectives received information of a female, identified as Behre, being in possession of methamphetamine at a motel in the Morgan City, La. area. Detectives were able to make contact with Behre. She admitted to possessing methamphetamine, Subutex pills, and drug paraphernalia to detectives. Behre was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond was set at $1,500.
