Arrest Report- May 3, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Ryan Christopher Hall, 32, 919 Ave. H, Huntsville, Tx., was arrested on May 2, 2019, at 6:34 am on a warrant for failure to appear for trial on the charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia (1st offense).

Hall was located at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the above-mentioned warrant. No bond has been set.

 

Devonte Jamal Colar, 25, 1147 Fulton St., New Iberia, La., was arrested on May 2, 2019, at 8:13 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of violation of uniform CDS law in a drug-free zone (misdemeanor), possession of marijuana (14 grams or less), and possession of drug paraphernalia (1st offense).

Colar was located at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the above-mentioned warrant. He was released on his own recognizance.

 

Dex Patrick Hebert, 29, 111 Plum St. B, Houma, La., was arrested on May 2, 2019, at 8:05 pm on a warrant from Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear.

 A deputy was patrolling Highway 90 East near the Martin Luther King exit in Morgan City, La. when he observed a vehicle cross the solid white fog line then proceed back into the right lane. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and contact was made with the driver, identified as Hebert. A background check on Hebert revealed the active warrant. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

Glenn B. Crawford, Jr., 60, 300 Degravelle Rd., Amelia, La., was arrested on May 2, 2019, at 11:08 pm for driving while intoxicated (1st offense) and careless operation.

A deputy was dispatched to the area of Beadle St. in Amelia, La. in reference to a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival, the deputy observed a vehicle in a ditch and made with the driver, identified as Crawford. The deputy could smell a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his breath and noticed his eyes were glossy. Crawford was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for blood testing on the Intoxilyzer Series 9000, which registered his blood alcohol content at .0136g%. Crawford was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond has been set at $3,000.
