Arrest Report, May 17, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Noel Russell Naverro, 34, 199 Scott Ln., Houma, La., was arrested on May 16, 2019, at 12:10 pm on a warrant for probation violation (felony).

 

Naverro was located at the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Department on the active warrant. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

Jeremie Martin Paul, Jr., 28, 541 David St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on May 16, 2019, at 11:24 am for criminal trespass and attempted simple burglary.

 

Shanna Orgeron, 26, 422 Neptune St., Apt. #1, Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on May 16, 2019, at 1:11 pm for criminal trespass and attempted simple burglary.

 

Deputies were dispatched to 222 Southwest Rd. in Bayou Vista, La. in reference to an attempted residential burglary. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a witness who observed two subjects attempting to gain entry into the residence. Upon further investigation, Paul and Orgeron were identified as the two subjects. Both were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond on Orgeron was set at $3,500. No bond has been set on Paul.

 

Brandon Michael Gaudet, 29, 1683 La. 317, Centerville, La., was arrested on May 16, 2019, at 4:24 pm on a warrant for domestic abuse battery.

 

Gaudet was located at his residence on the active warrant. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

Aisha Delean Davis, 39, 721 Chetta Ln., Morgan City, La., was arrested on May 17, 2019, at 8:01 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for direct contempt of court and traffic offenses.

 

Jaliyah Charles, 22, 411 Dulles Dr., #4218, Lafayette, La., was arrested on May 17, 2019, at 8:01 pm for possession of marijuana.

 

Deputies were patrolling Hwy. 90 West when he observed a vehicle with no operating license plate lights. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, identified as Davis, and the passenger, identified as Charles. While speaking to both subjects, deputies could smell a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Consent to search the vehicle was granted by Davis. During the search of the vehicle, a hand-rolled marijuana blunt was located inside Charles purse. A background check on Davis revealed the active warrant. Charles was issued a summons to appear in court on August 28, 2019. Davis was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond has been set at $365.

 

Jonathan Wayne Ashley, 30, 8500 Hwy. 182, Centerville, La., was arrested on May 16, 2019, at 8:44 pm for possession of stolen things.

 

Deputies were dispatched to the area of Southeast Blvd. in Bayou Vista, La. in reference to a stolen bike complaint. Upon further investigation, it was learned Ashley was in possession of the stolen bike. Ashley was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  He was later released on a summons. 

 

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Rena Wilson, 40, 153 Nini Rd., Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on May 16, 2019, at 8:44 pm for possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule III drugs (steroids), possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal possession of stolen things.

 

Tyler Wilson, 46, 153 Nini Rd., Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on May 16, 2019, at 8:44 pm for possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule III drugs (steroids), possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal possession of stolen things.

 

Deputies were investigating a stolen bike complaint at 153 Nini Rd. in Bayou Vista, La. when they could smell a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the residence. Narcotics detectives were contacted and a search warrant was obtained. During the search of the residence, detectives located methamphetamine, steroids, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. Both Rena Wilson and Tyler Wilson were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.
