Arrest Report, May 31, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 47 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tyrone Jevar Weber, 35, 101 Kerry Lane, Charenton, La., was arrested on May 30, 2019, at 7:44 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family.

 

Weber was located at the Iberia Parish Jail on the active warrant. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond has been set at $8,143.82.

 

Tisha Donyell Golden, 37, 310 Third St., Franklin, La., was arrested on May 30, 2019, at 10:07 am on a warrant for the charges of simple battery and simple criminal damage to property.

 

With the assistance of the Franklin Police Department, Golden was located in Franklin, La. on the active warrant. She was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond has been set at $3,000.

 

Brennan Norton Skinner, Sr., 26, 1061 Grace St., Siracusaville, La., was arrested on May 30, 2019, at 10:40 am for resisting arrest or officer and a warrants for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, simple escape, attempted possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and domestic abuse battery (1st offense) child present.

 

Deputies were dispatched to 1061 Grace St. in Siracusaville, La. in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, it was learned Skinner was threatening to break out windows in a vehicle. When deputies arrived, Skinner began to flee. They were able to locate Skinner on Joseph St. in Siracusaville a short time later. A background check on Skinner revealed the active warrants.  He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bond has been set.

 

Javantre DJohn Jackson, 24, 2135 Becnel St., Franklin, La., was arrested on May 30, 2019, at 1:39 pm for battery of a correctional officer.

 

Deputies were performing duties at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center when Jackson became uncooperative by hitting and spitting on a correctional officer. He was then placed under arrest.

 

John J. Hebert III, 38, 106 Palmer Lane, Franklin, La., was arrested on May 30, 2019, at 2:23 pm on a warrant for simple battery.

 

Hebert turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office on the active warrant. He was released on a summons to appear in court on August 28, 2019.

 

Darren Joseph Jackson, 34, 115 Jordin Lane, Morgan City, La., was arrested on May 30, 2019, at 3:15 pm for violation of protective orders.

 

A deputy was dispatched to 104 Todd Lane in Bayou Vista, La. in reference to a violation of a protective order. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the complainant who stated Jackson was making contact with her by phone. It was learned Jackson violated a protective order that was in place. He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bond has been set at $2,500.

 

Russell Quintin Francis, Jr., 34, 140 Mill Rd. Lot #3, Patterson, La., was arrested on May 30, 2019, at 3:38 pm on a warrant for disturbing the peace intoxicated.

 

Francis was located at his residence on the active warrant. He was released on a summons to appear in court on August 28, 2019.

 

Lora Ann Morvant, 55, 113 Field St., New Iberia, La., was arrested on May 30, 2019, at 6:25 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and improper lane usage.

 

Morvant was located at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the active warrant. No bond has been set.

 

Female Juvenile, 15, was arrested on May 31, 2019, at 2:57 am for no headlights, theft of a motor vehicle, ungovernable juvenile, and driver must be licensed.

 

A deputy was patrolling the Franklin, La. area when he observed a vehicle with no headlights on. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and contact was made with the driver, identified as the female juvenile. After further investigation, it was learned the female juvenile had taken the vehicle without permission and was driving without a license. She was released to a guardian pending juvenile court action.
