Arrest Report- June 19, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Frankie Gerard Clark, 35, 149 Friendship Ln., Amelia, La., was arrested on June 18, 2019, at 10:31 am for

  • Possession of schedule II drugs
  • Possession of schedule I drugs
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Warrant from Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Department for simple burglary.

Deputies were called to Amelia, La. to assist the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office in reference to an investigation involving a burglary. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Clark. After further investigation, drugs were located inside his vehicle. Clark was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Leonard Allen Yarborough, 57, 115 Cane Rd., Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on June 18, 2019, at 5:45 pm for theft and criminal trespass.

Daniel Michael Elliot, 20, 115 Cane Rd., Morgan City, La., was arrested on June 18, 20019, at 5:45 pm for theft and criminal trespass.

Deputies were called to a local business in Bayou Vista, La. in reference to a theft. During the investigation, it was learned Yarborough and Elliot were observed committing a theft. Deputies spoke with business personnel who stated that both were barred from the property. Yarborough and Elliot were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail on Yarborough has been set at $5,000. Bail on Elliot has been set at $3,500.

 

Rogena Sons Hartley, 46, 2165 River Rd., Berwick, La., was arrested on June 18, 2019, at 7:34 pm for expired license plate and driving under suspension.

A deputy patrolling the area of Adams St. and Third St. in Franklin, La. when he observed a vehicle with an expired license plate. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Hartley. Through the stop, the deputy learned that she was driving with a suspended license. Hartley was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on September 26, 2019.

 

Shelli Lynn Trahan, 39, 226 Gina Dr., Duson, La., was arrested on June 18, 2019, at 10:45 pm for no headlights and driving under suspension.

A deputy was traveling on Ralph Darden Memorial Parkway towards Hwy. 182 in Baldwin, La. when he observed a vehicle without an operating passenger headlight. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Trahan. The deputy was informed by dispatch that she was driving under suspension. Trahan was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on September 26, 2019.

 

Brian Keith James, Jr., 39, 813 ½ Iberia St., Franklin, La., was arrested on June 19, 2019, at 2:31 am for no license plate light and driving under suspension.

A deputy was traveling on Ralph Darden Memorial Parkway when he observed a vehicle without an operating license plate light. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as James. The deputy was informed by dispatch that he was driving under suspension. James was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on September 26, 2019.
