Arrest Report- June 26, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Kneeko Joseph Domangue, 28, 214 Cascade Dr., Houma, La., was arrested on June 25, 2019, at 3:25 pm on (3) warrants for failure to appear on the charges of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles (x2), and theft.

Domangue was transported from the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the active warrants. No bail has been set.

 

Gregory Joseph Mitchell, 60, 2334 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, La., was arrested on June 25, 2019, at 10:41 pm for license plate lights required, possession of schedule II drugs (crack cocaine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Picket St. in Charenton, La. when he observed a vehicle without properly operating license plate lights. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Mitchell. During the investigation, drugs were located inside the vehicle. Mitchell was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Male Juvenile, 17, was arrested on June 26, 2019, at 12:06 am for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy assisting with a traffic stop near Saturn Rd. in Bayou Vista made contact with the driver of the vehicle, identified as a male juvenile. During the investigation, drugs were located inside the vehicle. The juvenile was issued a summons to appear in court on September 26, 2019.

 

Irvin Michael Raheem Williams, 25, 44155 South Baptiste Rd., Hammond, La., was arrested on June 26, 2019, at 6:07 am for simple assault.

Deputies were dispatched to a local business in Bayou Vista, La. in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant and a witness. During the investigation, Williams was identified as the suspect. Williams was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Illyssa Fangue, 26, 105 Jordin Ln., Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on June 25, 2019, at 9:39 pm on the following charges:

  • Obstruction of justice
  • Possession of a firearm in the presence of CDS
  • Possession of schedule II drugs with the intent to distribute (methamphetamine)
  • Possession of schedule I drugs with the intent to distribute (marijuana)
  • Violation of CDS law in a drug-free zone
  • Possession of schedule I drugs (MDMA)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

John J. Demarco, 29, 105 Jordin Ln., Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on June 25, 2019, at 9:39 pm on the following charges:

  • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (5 counts)
  • Possession of a firearm in the presence of CDS
  • Possession of schedule II drugs with the intent to distribute (methamphetamine)
  • Possession of schedule I drugs with the intent to distribute (marijuana)
  • Violation of CDS law in a drug-free zone
  • Possession of schedule I drugs (MDMA)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Illegal possession of a stolen firearm

Narcotics detectives along with the SMPSO patrol section executed a search warrant at 105 Jordin Lane in Bayou Vista, La. During the search of the residence, narcotics detectives located firearms and drugs. The residence is located less than 2,000 feet from a school, church, and a park. Demarco and Fangue were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.
