Arrest Report- July 1, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 119 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Lovana Burrell Lively, 31, 1711 West Ibert St., Franklin, La., June 28, 2019, at 9:06 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of improper lane usage.

Deputies were dispatched to West Ibert St. in Franklin, La. in reference to Lively, who held an active warrant for her arrest. Deputies made contact with Lively and advised her of the warrant. Lively was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has been set at $1,750.

 

Vernon James Robinson, Jr., 33, 204 Chennault St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on June 28, 2019, at 12:42 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of:

  • Possession of Cocaine with the intent to distribute
  • Resisting an officer
  • Failure to stop/yield at a stop sign
  • Operating a vehicle while license was suspended

Robinson was transported from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the active warrant. Bail has been set at $7,000.

 

Female Juvenile, 17, was arrested on June 28, 2019, at 1:08 pm on a warrant for theft (felony).

The female juvenile was transported from Terrebonne Parish Jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the active warrant. No bail has been set.

 

Kenneth Keith Phillips, 49, 128 Miggy Lane, Baldwin, La., was arrested on June 28, 2019, at 8:39 pm for improper lane usage, resisting an officer by flight, and driving under suspension.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Coulee St. in Baldwin, La. when he observed a vehicle traveling in the oncoming lane for several hundred feet. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Phillips. The deputy was advised by dispatch that Phillips was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Phillips was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has been set at $2,750.

 

Corey Miller, 29, 2622 Bryan St., Houma, La., was arrested on June 28, 2019, at 11:33 pm for turning movements/required signals and driving under suspension.

A deputy was patrolling the Amelia area when he observed a vehicle make a turn without giving a proper signal. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Miller. The deputy was advised by dispatch that Miller was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Miller was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on September 26, 2019.

 

James Bernard Gibson, Jr., 35, 5001 Debore Circle, New Orleans, La., was arrested on June 29, 2019, at 12:08 am for failure to signal, possession of schedule IV drugs (Xanax), and driving under suspension.

Juan Keith Doir Shearron, 30, 468 Branch St., Baldwin, La., was arrested on June 29, 2019, at 12:08 am for possession of marijuana.

A K-9 deputy was patrolling the area of Baldwin, La when he observed a vehicle fail to signal when turning onto Martin Luther King Street. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Gibson, and the passenger, Shearron. The deputy was advised by dispatch that Gibson was driving with a suspended driver’s license. During the investigation, drugs were located. Gibson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has been set at $3,000. Shearron was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on September 26, 2019.

 

Brent Joseph Bridges, 34, 132 Vaughn Lane, Franklin, La., was arrested on June 29, 2019, at 10:28 am for attempted criminal damage to property.

Deputies were dispatched to 132 Vaughn Lane in Franklin, La. in reference to a criminal damage to property complaint. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who said that Bridges became angry and threw an object through a window. Bridges was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bail has been set.

 

 

Clifton Eugene Rineholt, 26, 913 South Kemper Rd., Franklin, La., was arrested on June 29, 2019, at 7:31 pm for simple battery.

A deputy was dispatched to 921 South Kemper Rd. in Franklin, La. in reference to a simple battery. During the investigation, the deputy learned Rineholt had committed a battery on the victim. Rineholt was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has been set at $2,500.

 

Crystal Celest Williams, 36, 257 Gum Point Ln., Franklin, La., was arrested on June 30, 2019, at 1:03 am for general speed law and driving under suspension.

A deputy was stationary on Irish Bend Rd. in Franklin, La. when he observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Williams. The deputy was advised by dispatch that Williams was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Williams was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on September 26, 2019.

 

Garland Wayne Spain, 46, 109 Lancelin St., Baldwin, La., was arrested on June 30, 2019, at 2:53 am for driving under suspension.

A deputy made contact with Spain at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Department Headquarters when Spain came to pick up his driver’s license that he left at a traffic incident. The deputy learned his driver’s license was suspended. Spain was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on September 26, 2019.

 

Female Juvenile, 15, was arrested on June 30, 2019, at 7:45 pm for general speed law and driver must be licensed.

A deputy was traveling on Verdun Lane in Franklin, La. when he observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as the female juvenile. The juvenile was driving without a driver’s license. She was arrested and released to a guardian pending juvenile court action.

 

Tommy Wilson, 25, 3000 Evangeline St., Monroe, La., was arrested on June 30, 2019, at 10:15 pm for driving under suspension and license plate lights required.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Hwy. 83 in Ashton, La. when he observed a vehicle without operating license plate lights. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Wilson. The deputy was advised by dispatch that Wilson was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Wilson was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on September 26, 2019.

 

Jesus Garcia-Valle, 24, 1530 Sterling Rd., Franklin, La., was arrested on July 1, 2009, at 12:38 am for possession of marijuana.

A deputy was notified by another deputy of a vehicle in the area of Main St. in Franklin, La. traveling at a high rate of speed. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle in the area of Sterling Rd. at a residence. During the investigation, it was learned Garcia-Valle was the driver of the vehicle and drugs were found. Garcia-Valle was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on September 26, 2019.

 

Tylan Trevon Gray, 19, 30966 Creekbend Ave., Denham Springs, La. was arrested on July 1, 2019, at 3:13 am for possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm in presence of CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy was stationary on Irish Bend Road in Franklin, La. when he observed a vehicle without any operating license plate lights. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver and a passenger, identified as Gray. During the investigation, drugs and a firearm were located. Gray was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has been set at $3,500.

 

Jody Ray Cubbedge, Jr., 43, 129 Uranus St., Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on July 1, 2019, at 3:39 am for improper lane usage and driving under suspension.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Lake Palourde Rd.in Amelia, La. when he observed a vehicle swerve and cross the middle fog line in the road. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Cubbedge. The deputy was advised by dispatch that Cubbedge was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Cubbedge was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on September 26, 2019.
