St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 49 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Estive Cruz-Guerrero, 28, 107 Patty Ln., Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on July 8, 2019, at 3:18 pm on a warrant for identity theft (2 counts).
Guerrero was located at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City, La. on the active warrant for his arrest. Guerrero was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.
Gary Jones, 52, 513 Iberia St., Franklin, La., was arrested on July 8, 2019, at 3:50 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and entry on or remaining in places or land after being forbidden.
Jones was located at the Franklin Police Department and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the active warrant for his arrest. No bail has been set.
Quincy O. Roberts, 25, 13940 Alderson Dr. #85, Houston, Tx., was arrested on July 8, 2009, at 3:52 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids.
Roberts was located at a residence in Baldwin, La. on the active warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on July 29, 2019.
Harold Demon Bias, 29, 711 Terrebonne St. #27, Morgan City, La., was arrested on July 8, 2019, at 10:04 pm for speeding, driving under suspension, and expired license plate.
Deputies were patrolling the area of Bayou Vista when they observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Bias. Deputies learned that his vehicle had an expired license plate and they were advised by dispatch that he was driving under suspension. Bias was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on October 16, 2019.
NARCOTICS SECTION
Destiny Falgoust, 24, 522 Leo St., Patterson, La., was arrested on July 8, 2019, at 3:57 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a legend drug without a prescription.
Kristyn Parker, 27, 1090 Susan Ct., Morgan City, La., was arrested on July 8, 2019, at 3:57 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Detectives with the SMPSO Narcotics Section went to a local motel in Morgan City, La. in regards to receiving information about illegal narcotics activity taking place. Upon arrival, detectives made contact with Falgoust and Parker. During the investigation, drugs were located. Falgoust and Parker were arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on October 16, 2019.
