Arrest Report- July 23, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 46 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Jaron Flynn Foret, 26, 125 Pond Dr., Bayou L’Ourse, La., was arrested on July 22, 2019, at 5:06 pm on the following charges:

  • Possession of heroin
  • Possession of suboxen
  • Possession of Subutex
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Resisting an officer
  • Obstruction of justice

William Thomas Primm, 24, 175 Andras St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on July 22, 2019, at 5:17 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics detectives were patrolling the area of Friendship Alley in Amelia when they observed two subjects standing around two trucks that were blocking a lane of travel. Detectives attempted to make contact with the subjects, later identified as Foret and Primm, when Foret began to flee from detectives. Detectives were able to detain Foret a short time later. During the investigation, drugs were located. Primm was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on October 16, 2019. Foret was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has been set at $12,000.

 

 

Tyjuandre Harris, 22, 502 Fredrick Lane Lot #2, Baldwin, La., was arrested on July 22, 2019, at 7:06 pm for possession of schedule I drugs (marijuana) with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Daijuan D. Stewart, 25, 205 John St., Baldwin, La., was arrested on July 22, 2019, at 7:16 pm for possession of schedule I drugs (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics detectives were patrolling the area of Labau St. in Baldwin when they observed a vehicle in an abandoned parking lot. Detectives made contact with two subjects, identified as Harris and Stewart. During the investigation, drugs were found. Stewart was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on October 16, 2019. Harris was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has been set at $1,500.
