Arrest Report- August 14, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 29 complaints and reports the Middle Rd. following arrests:

 

Jody Ray Cubbedge, Sr., 61, 3459 Second St., Berwick, La., was arrested on August 13, 2019, at 11:18 am on the following charges:

  • Failure to signal turn
  • No insurance
  • Driving under suspension
  • Possession of schedule II drugs
  • Possession of schedule IV drugs
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

A deputy was patrolling the area of Middle Rd. in Bayou Vista when he observed a vehicle make a turn without using a turn signal. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Cubbedge. The deputy was advised by dispatch that Cubbedge was driving under suspension and had no insurance on the vehicle. During the investigation, drugs were located inside the vehicle. Cubbedge was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Male Juvenile, 15, was arrested on August 13, 2019, at 2:46 pm for ungovernable juvenile and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in Centerville in reference to an ungovernable juvenile. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the complainant who stated that the juvenile refused to start tutoring for school. The male juvenile was arrested and released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Kynan M. Parro, 41, 6241 Tunica Dr., Charenton, La., was arrested on August 13, 2019, at 7:43 pm for reckless operation (no accident), simple criminal damage to property, and disturbing the peace (noise).

A deputy made contact with Parro at his residence following an investigation from a disturbance that happened earlier at the Charenton Boat Landing. Parro was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on November 8, 2019.

 

April Lynn Aucoin, 39, 146 Cremo Ln., Patterson, La., was arrested on August 13, 2019, at 8:14 pm for resisting arrest or officer and a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of clonazepam.

A deputy responded to a business on Marguerite St. in Morgan City in reference to Aucoin, who held an active warrant for her arrest. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Aucoin and while being arrested, she resisted. Aucoin was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Ella Douglas Kliebert, 42, 418 Rue De Cypress St., Thibodaux, La., was arrested on August 14, 2019, at 12:53 am on the following charges:

  • Driving while intoxicated – 1st offense
  • Open container
  • Reckless operation (no accident)
  • Possession of a legend drug without a prescription

A deputy assisting another deputy with a traffic stop on Hwy. 90 in Morgan City made contact with Kliebert. While the deputy was speaking with Kliebert, he could smell a strong odor of alcohol emitting from her person. Kliebert was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for chemical testing on the Intoxilyzer 9000. Kliebert’s blood alcohol content tested at 0.180g%. Kliebert was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. She was released on her own recognizance.
