Arrest Report- August 15, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the Middle Rd. following arrests:

 

Daniel Joseph Bozeman, 49, 801 Laneuville Rd., Lafayette, La., was arrested on August 14, 2019, at 12:57 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft (less than $1,000).

Bozeman was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on an active warrant for his arrest. No bail has been set.

 

Kendriel Wilson, 21, 306 Tallowood St., Franklin, La., was arrested on August 14, 2019, at 6:59 pm for speeding and possession of marijuana.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Hwy. 90 in Berwick when he observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Wilson. During the investigation, drugs were located inside the vehicle. Wilson was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on November 8, 2019.

 

Christopher Lee Pike, 50, 349 Hunting Rd., Franklin, La., arrested on August 14, 2019, at 8:54 pm for disturbing the peace intoxicated and criminal trespass.

Deputies were dispatched to Taryn Lane in Ricohoc in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who stated that Pike was causing a disturbance and wasn’t welcome at the residence. Pike was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement for booking. Bail has been set at $2,000.

 

Lonnie Patrick Payton, 40, 224 Mechanic St., Franklin, La., was arrested on August 14, 2019, at 9:09 pm for driving on roadway laned for traffic and driving under suspension.

A deputy patrolling the area of Hwy. 182 near Southeast Blvd. in Bayou Vista observed a vehicle swerve over the fog line. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Payton. Upon further investigation, the deputy learned Payton was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Payton was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on November 8, 2019.

 

Zachary Boudreaux, 32, 1220 N. Prescott Dr., Zachary, La., was arrested on August 14, 2019, at 10:22 pm for possession of schedule I drugs (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, and no taillights.

Deputies were patrolling the area of Hwy. 182 near Teche Rd. in Bayou Vista when they observed a vehicle without an operating taillight. The deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Boudreaux. During the investigation, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle. Boudreaux was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on November 8, 2019.

 

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Chance Boudreaux, 24, 427 North Sterling Rd., Lafayette, La., was arrested on August 14, 2019, at 8:29 pm on the following charges:

  • Possession of schedule II drugs with the intent to distribute (methamphetamine)
  • Possession of schedule II drugs (Adderall)
  • Possession of schedule IV drugs (lorazepam)
  • Possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Zachary Hebert, 22, 132 Laura Dr., Patterson, La., was arrested on August 14, 2019, at 8:29 pm on a warrant for probation violation.

Narcotics detectives were patrolling the area of Patterson when they observed a vehicle cross over the centerline. The detectives conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Hebert, and the passenger, Boudreaux. The detectives were advised by dispatch that Hebert held an active warrant for his arrest. During the investigation, drugs belonging to Boudreaux were located inside the vehicle. Hebert and Boudreaux were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement for booking. No bail has been set.
