Arrest Report- September 9, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 903 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Elizabeth V. Williams, 56, 546 Tiger Rd., Franklin, La., was arrested on September 6, 2019, at 11:34 am on a warrant for theft.

A deputy was dispatched to a business in Centerville in reference to a subject with an active warrant. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Williams and confirmed through dispatch that Williams held an active warrant for her arrest. Williams was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has been set at $3,000.

 

Euclide Legnon, 70, 1825 Filmore St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on September 6, 2019, at 1:36 pm on two warrants for residential contractor fraud and exploitation of the infirmed.

Legnon turned himself into the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office on the active warrants for his arrest. Legnon was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Kenneth Ray Connor, 37, 515 Fredericks Lane #13, Baldwin, La., was arrested on September 6, 2019, at 7:40 pm for speeding and driving under suspension.

A deputy was stationary in the area of Ralph Darden Memorial Parkway in Baldwin when he observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Connor. Through the stop, the deputy learned that Connor was driving under suspension. Connor was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on December 2, 2019.

 

Shane Orion Suire, 23, 3004 Carol Dr., Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on September 6, 2019, at 7:45 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of possession of heroin and simple burglary.

A deputy received an anonymous call of a subject at a business in Amelia who held active warrants for his arrest. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Suire and confirmed the active warrants. Suire was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Malcomb Jerome Williams III, 20, 203 Trevino St. #11, Berwick, La., was arrested on September 6, 2019, at 9:28 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of failure to stop at a stop sign.

Williams turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on an active warrant for his arrest. Bail was set at $350.

 

Ricardo Zermeno, 21, 207 Aycock St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on September 7, 2019, at 12:47 pm for obedience to officer/ traffic signs and driving under suspension.

A deputy was conducting a funeral escort on the corner of Hwy. 182 and Aycock St. in Morgan City when he observed a vehicle proceed past his unit while blocking traffic. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Zermeno. The deputy learned through dispatch that he was driving under suspension. Zermeno was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on December 2, 2019.

 

Kacy Bonin Sons, 34, 1513 ½ Nevada St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on September 8, 2019, at 12:01 am for possession of drug paraphernalia and two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of forgery and possession of alprazolam.

A deputy was traveling east on Hwy. 182 in Bayou Vista when he observed a vehicle driving on the shoulder of the highway. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Sons. During the stop, the deputy was advised by dispatch that Sons held the active warrants for her arrest. Sons was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bail has been set.

 

Christopher Thomas Singleton, 33, 154 Friendship Alley, Amelia, La., was arrested on September 8, 2019, at 12:45 am for disturbing the peace by language and resisting arrest/officer.

Deputies were dispatched to Friendship Alley in Amelia in reference to gunshots being fired. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with Singleton who became irate with another subject. During the arrest, Singleton resisted. Singleton was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has been set at $3,000.
