St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 29 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Kacy Lynn Sons, 34, 1115 ½ North First St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on September 9, 2019, at 2:35 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family.

Sons was located at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on an active warrant for her arrest. Bail has been set at $17,620.85.

 

Kenneth Joseph Tillman, Jr., 33, 205 John St., Baldwin, La., was arrested on September 9, 2019, at 11:07 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of use of enhanced 911 emergency phone system and disturbing the peace by appearing in an intoxicated condition.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Hwy. 182 in Baldwin when he observed a vehicle without an operable headlight. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver and a passenger, identified as Tillman. The deputy was advised by dispatch that Tillman held the active warrants for his arrest. Tillman was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Daniel Wesley, 57, 2436 Hwy. 318, Jeanerette, La., was arrested on September 10, 2019, at 12:46 am for driving under suspension.

A deputy patrolling the area of Hwy. 182 west in Baldwin conducted a traffic stop due to a welfare concern. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Wesley and was advised by dispatch he was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Wesley was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on December 2, 2019.
