Arrest Report- September 12, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Erik Honroe Guillory, 32, 1009 Rosemary St., Patterson, La., was arrested on September 11, 2019, at 12:56 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for contempt of protective order.

Guillory was located at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse on an active warrant for his arrest. Guillory was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Rondrick Lavonin Grant, 22, 966 St. Peters St., Jeanerette, La., was arrested on September 11, 2019, at 4:28 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of aggravated assault with a firearm.

Grant was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from the Iberia Parish Jail on an active warrant for his arrest. No bail has been set.

 

April Pontiff, 39, 11511 Hwy. 182, Franklin, La., was arrested on September 11, 2019, at 5:29 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

  • Possession of methamphetamine (x2)
  • Possession of heroin
  • Possession of alprazolam
  • Possession of carisoprodol
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia (x2)
  • Theft of less than $1,000

Pontiff was located at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse on the active warrants for her arrest and was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Courtney Jamal Richardson, 34, 106 West Third St., Franklin, La., was arrested on September 11, 2019, at 10:04 pm on a warrant for the charges of battery on a correctional officer, simple criminal damage to property, and disarming of a police officer.

Richardson was located at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on an active warrant for his arrest. No bail has been set.

 

Kenneth Bobby Francis, 43, 140 Mill Rd., Patterson, La., was arrested on September 11, 2019, at 6:09 pm for failure to obtain a special identification card (sex offender), failure to register as a sex offender, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of failure to register and notify as a sex offender or child predator.

Francis was located at a local business on Hwy. 182 in Morgan City when deputies made contact with him. Deputies were aware of the active warrant for his arrest. Francis was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Troy Perez, 54, 106 Moon Rd., Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on September 11, 2019, at 2:13 pm on three warrants on the charges of nonconsensual disclosure of a private image and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute (x2).

Narcotics detectives were patrolling the area of Bayou Vista when they observed Perez on Field Rd. Detectives were aware of the active warrants for his arrest and made contact with him. Perez was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Dawna Jean Halverson, 47, 609 Sebby Lane, Bayou Vista, La., was arrested on September 11, 2019, at 4:50 pm for possession of schedule I drugs (marijuana).

Narcotics detectives were patrolling the area of Canal St. and Field Rd. in Bayou Vista when they observed a vehicle fail to use a turn signal. The detectives conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver and the passenger, identified as Halverson. During the stop, drugs were found. Halverson was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on December 2, 2019.
