Arrest Report- September 30, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 85 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Pedro Vazquez Garcia, 39, 620 Easy Street, Patterson, La., was arrested on September 27, 2019, at 6:03 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Highway 90 West in Centerville when he observed a vehicle cross the center and fog lines multiple times. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Garcia, and was advised by dispatch that Garcia held an active warrant for his arrest. Garcia was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Garcia was released on a $1,000 bond.

 

Charles Johnson, 24, 535 Druhilet Street, Jeanerette, La., was arrested on September 27, 2019, at 11:08 am for improper lane usage, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy was patrolling Highway 182 in the area of Baldwin when he observed a vehicle without an operable brake light.  The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Johnson. During the stop, drugs and drug paraphernalia belonging to Johnson were located. Johnson was arrested and released on a summons to appear on December 2, 2019.

 

Anthony Shields, 19, 312 Kerry Street, Baldwin, La., was arrested on September 27, 2019, at 1:08 pm for failure to report an accident.

A deputy was dispatched to an address in Franklin in reference to a subject who had been involved in a one-car crash a few hours earlier. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Shields, who stated that he was involved in the crash. Shields was arrested and released on a summons to appear on December 2, 2019.

 

Mark Houston Buteau, 51, 128 Shady Grove Drive, Patterson, La., was arrested on September 27, 2019, at 11:46 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence on Pan Am Lane in Charenton in reference to the complainant's dogs barking at something. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the complainant who stated that she had seen Buteau and had asked him to leave the property. The deputy was advised by dispatch that Buteau held an active warrant for his arrest.  Buteau was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $5,000.

 

Travis Wayne Montgomery, 44, 407 Neptune Street, Morgan City, La., was arrested on September 28, 2019, at 1:22 pm for switched license plate/stolen license plate, driving under suspension, no insurance, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family.

A deputy patrolling the area of Saturn Road in Bayou Vista observed a vehicle with a switched license plate. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Montgomery, who was driving under suspension and had no insurance on the vehicle. Dispatch advised the deputy that Montgomery also held an active warrant for his arrest. Montgomery was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has not been set.

 

Ulyess John Boudreaux, 39, 1715 Kemper Street, Patterson, La., was arrested on September 28, 2019, at 8:15 pm on an active warrant for theft, criminal trespass, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence on Kemper Street in reference to locating Boudreaux who held an active warrant for his arrest. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Boudreaux and advised him of the active warrant.  Boudreaux was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Eula Marie Gilmer, 57, 120 Millium Avenue, Houma, La., was arrested on September 29, 2019, at 3:41 am for driving while intoxicated, reckless operation no accident, and open container.

A deputy was dispatched to a complaint of a vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lane on Highway 90 near Baldwin.  The deputy observed the vehicle driving eastbound in the westbound lane and pulled over to avoid being hit by the vehicle before conducting a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, Gilmer. The deputy conducted field sobriety in which Gilmer performed poorly. Gilmer was transported to the Franklin Police Department for chemical testing which registered her blood alcohol content at 0.214 g%. Gilmer was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Christian Mark Rentrop, 44, 4314 Cantrell Dr., Berwick, La., was arrested on September 29, 2019, at 10:09 pm for no lights in fog and possession of marijuana.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Highway 90 East near Thorguson Drive when he observed a vehicle traveling without running lights on. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Rentrop. Through the stop, marijuana belonging to Rentrop was located. Rentrop was arrested and released on a summons to appear on December 2, 2019.

 

Donald Bernard Williams, Sr., 35, 710 Anderson Street, Franklin, La., was arrested on September 30, 2019, at 1:49 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of window tint/obscuring windshield and failure to honor a written promise to appear.

A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and made contact with the driver, Williams. Dispatch advised the deputy that Williams held an active warrant for his arrest. Williams was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Williams was released on a $340 bond.  

 

Terell Javon Davis, 23, 1910 Canal Drive, Franklin, La., was arrested on September 29, 2019, at 1:58 pm for possession of marijuana, improper display license plates, and on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of theft and speeding.

A deputy patrolling the area of Iberia Street in Franklin observed a vehicle with a dark license plate cover which obstructed the plate. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and made contact with the driver, Davis. Dispatch advised the deputy that Davis held an active warrant for his arrest. Through the stop, marijuana belonging to Davis was also located. Davis was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking and was subsequently released on a $2,618 bond.  

 

Timothy John Ohmer, 52, 916 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, La., was arrested on September 29, 2019, at 3:21 pm on a warrants for failure to appear on the charges of obedience to officers/traffic signs, operating a vehicle with an expired license, and failure to honor a written promise to appear.

A deputy went to a residence on Lake Palourde Road in reference to locating Ohmer, who held an active warrant for his arrest. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Ohmer and advised him of the active warrant. Ohmer was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking and was subsequently released on a $365 bond.  

 

Cayd Turner Hatch, 22, 700 North Prairie Road, Centerville, La., was arrested on September 29, 2019, at 4:23 pm for expired or no inspection sticker and driving under suspension.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Highway 182 near Clarke Road when he observed a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Hatch, who was driving under suspension. Hatch was arrested and released on a summons to appear on December 2, 2019.

 

John A. Anderson, 44, 1813 Filmore Street, Morgan City, La., was arrested on September 29, 2019, at 6:33 am on a warrant for criminal trespass.

Ronalyn S. Anderson, 31, 1813 Filmore Street, Morgan City, La., was arrested on September 29, 2019, at 6:33 am on a warrant for criminal trespass.

A deputy went to a residence on Filmore Street in reference to locating J. Anderson and R. Anderson who had warrants for their arrest. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with J. Anderson and R. Anderson and advised them of the warrants. They were arrested and each released on a summons to appear on December 2, 2019.
