St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 45 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Ted Everidge, Jr., 60, 429 West Gary Street, Broken Arrow, OK, was arrested on October 9, 2019, at 8:21 am on an active warrant for probation violation.

A corrections deputy made contact with Everidge when he was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from another agency on the active warrant. Everidge was booked and incarcerated.  No bail has been set.

 

Juvenile male, 15, Centerville, LA, was arrested on October 9, 2019, at 8:08 pm for ungovernable juvenile, battery on a police officer, resisting a police officer with force or violence, criminal damage to property, and disturbing the peace-noise.

A deputy was dispatched to a location in Centerville in reference to an ungovernable juvenile. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the juvenile and in the process of taking him into custody, the juvenile resisted and damaged property. The juvenile was arrested and transported to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office for booking. The juvenile was later turned over to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
