Arrest Report, October 14, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 95 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jameon Jontae Jack, 36, 1607 West Ibert Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2019, at 10:31 am for parole violation.

A deputy was advised by courtroom security that Jack was in the courtroom and held an active warrant for his arrest. The deputy made contact with Jack and advised him of the active warrant. Jack was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Anthony Joseph Beard, 43, 1502 Crossroads 2 Road, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2019, at 11:30 am on the following charges:

  • Domestic abuse battery by strangulation
  • Criminal damage to property-simple
  • Threatening a public official
  • Resisting arrest or officer
  • Disturbing the peace by language

A deputy was dispatched to a residence on Crossroad 2 in reference to removing a subject. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the complainant who stated that Beard had grabbed the complainant by the neck. The deputy made contact with Beard and arrested him.  After he was placed into the unit, Beard damaged the window of the unit and made threats to the deputies. Beard was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $100,000.

 

Elizabeth Businelle Jones, 56, 108 Felterman Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2019, at 1:00 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, hit and run driving, and careless operation of a motor vehicle.

A deputy was advised by courtroom security that Jones was in the courtroom and held an active warrant for her arrest. The deputy made contact with Jones and advised her of the active warrant. Jones was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Christoper Glenn Fryar, 36, 922 6th Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2019, at 7:50 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving under suspension.

A booking deputy made contact with Fryar when he was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from another agency. Fryar was booked and incarcerated. Fryar was released on a $500 bond.

 

June Caramouche, 58, 409 Moss Street, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on October 12, 2019, at 8:22 pm on a warrant for turning movements and signals required and driving under suspension.

A deputy was stationary at the corner of Lake Palourde Road and Barrow Street in Amelia when he observed a vehicle fail to give a signal when turning. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Caramouche. Through the stop, dispatch advised that Caramouche's driver's license was suspended. Caramouche was arrested and released on a summons to appear on January 10, 2020.

 

Dayton Madison, 24, 1031 Highway 318, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2019, at 10:25 pm on a warrant for probation violation.

A booking deputy made contact with Madison when he was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from another agency. Madison was booked and incarcerated. No bail has been set.

 

Monica Lynn Hebert, 30, 111 Robicheaux Lane, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2019, at 8:30 pm on a warrant for telephone calls-harassment.  

A deputy went to a residence on Veteran's Drive in Patterson in reference to locating Hebert who held an active warrant for her arrest. The deputy made contact with Hebert and advised her of the active warrant. Hebert was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking and was later released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Sara Ann Bella, 34, 452 Pacific Street, Berwick, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2019, at 6:41 pm on a warrant for telephone calls-harassment.  

A deputy went to a residence on Catherine Street in Patterson in reference to locating Bella who held an active warrant for her arrest. The deputy made contact with Bella and advised her of the active warrant. Bella was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking and was later released on a $1,500 bond.

 

George Willis, 28, 403 Seventh Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 12, 2019, at 8:38 pm for no insurance and driving left of center.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Highway 182 in the area of Franklin when he observed a vehicle cross the centerline several times. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Willis. Through the stop, dispatch advised that Willis had no insurance on the vehicle. Willis was arrested and released on a summons to appear on January 10, 2020.

 

Dejhon Andre Parker, 22, 155 Gum Point Lane, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 12, 2019, at 11:09 pm on the following charges:

  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Expired or no inspection sticker
  • Driving left of center
  • Resisting arrest or officer  

A deputy was patrolling the area of St. Joseph in Franklin when he observed a vehicle cross the centerline multiple times. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Parker. During the stop, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located. Parker was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking and was later released on a $2,000 bond.

 

Deirdre Louise Martin, 45, 702 William Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 13, 2019, at 2:29 am on the following charges:

  • Aggravated flight from officer
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of methamphetamines
  • Improper lane usage
  • Driving under suspension
  • Obstruction of justice
  • Resisting arrest or officer

A deputy was patrolling the area of Garden City when he observed a vehicle cross the fog line. The deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the vehicle sped up. Eventually, the vehicle came to a stop in a driveway and the deputy made contact with the driver, Martin. Through the stop, drugs and drug paraphernalia belonging to Martin were located. Martin was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Vicky Sanchez, 34, 104 Chris Lane, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 13, 2019, at 8:39 pm for introduction of contraband-penal institution, possession of schedule II drug with intent to distribute, and on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

  • Aggravated flight from an officer where human life is endangered
  • Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
  • Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of clonazepam
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of CDS in the presence of persons under 17
  • Hold for another agency

 

A deputy was in a local business in Centerville when he was asked for assistance with a suspicious vehicle leaving the business. Another deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver and two passengers, one identified as Sanchez.  Dispatch advised the deputy that Sanchez held active warrants for her arrest. Sanchez was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. While in booking, drugs were found on her person. No bail has been set.

 

Ty Quang Thai, 48, 261 Vivian Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 13, 2019, at 11:39 pm on a warrant for failure to appear through the Morgan City Police Department on the charge of disturbing the peace.

A deputy patrolling Amelia observed a male subject sitting on the side of Highway 182 near the Amelia Bridge. The deputy made contact with the man, identified as Thai.  Dispatch advised the deputy that Thai held an active warrant for his arrest. Thai was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

Jermaine Polidore, 33, 125 Edward Lane, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on October 14, 2019, at 12:45 am on the following charges:

  • Possession of schedule IV drugs
  • Possession of marijuana
  • No license plate light
  • Possession of firearm in the presence of cds
  • Driving under suspension
  • Illegal possession of stolen firearms
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

A deputy patrolling the area of Franklin observed a vehicle without an operable license plate light. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Polidore, and a passenger. Through the investigation, drugs, drug paraphernalia, and weapons belonging to Polidore were found. Dispatch advised that Polidore was driving with a suspended license. Polidore was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.

 

K9 DIVISION

Chad J. Lafleur, 42, 104 Glaze Court, Schriever, LA, was arrested on October 13, 2019, at 12:39 am for driving while intoxicated, driving under suspension, and on a warrant for failure to appear through Lafourche Parish on the charge of contempt of court.

A K9 deputy was patrolling the area of Highway 182 near Teche Road in Bayou Vista when he observed a vehicle parked on the shoulder of the road. The motor was running and the driver was asleep. The deputy conducted a traffic stop to check on the driver, identified as Lafleur. During the stop, Lafleur appeared under the influence and refused to let the deputy conduct field sobriety. Lafleur was transported to the Berwick Police Department for chemical testing, which he also refused. Lafleur was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail has been set.
