Arrest Report, October 28, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 105 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Andrew Joseph Paul Hebert, 28, 108 Patty Lane, Bayou Vista, La, was arrested on October 25, 2019 at 8:36 am for disturbing the peace-noise and a warrant for simple battery. 

A deputy was dispatched to Keller's Lane in reference to a disturbance.  Upon arrival a witness stated that Hebert was throwing things around the residence and causing a disturbance.  It was also learned that Hebert had an active warrant for his arrest.  He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond was set at $3,000.

 

Justin Ross Sons, 29, 852 Highway 20, Thibodaux, La, was arrested on October 25, 2019 at 9:59 am two warrants for failure to appear. 

Sons was transported from the Concordia Parish Correctional Center on the above-mentioned warrants.  He was booked into St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.  Bond was set at $21,500.

 

Shawn Paul Boudreaux, 40, 179 Martin Road, Franklin, La was arrested on October 25, 2019 at 2:47 pm for attempted theft and disturbing the peace.

A deputy was dispatched to a business on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista in reference to a shoplifting.  Upon arrival, the deputy located Boudreaux inside of the business.  A witness observed Boudreaux remove the tags off of clothing items and put them on as if the items were his own.  Boudreaux was also going around the business asking shoppers for money and a ride.  Boudreaux was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond was set at $2,000.

 

Carlton Ben Cosey, 37, 301 First Street, Morgan City, La, was arrested on October 25, 2019 at 3:20 pm on a warrant for failure to appear. 

Cosey was located at the Terrebonne Parish jail on the above-mentioned warrant.  He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.

 

Kilna Patricia Marshall, 45, 6358 Highway 182 West, Franklin, La, was arrested on October 25, 2019 at 4:41 pm on the following charges:

Theft
Contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile
Possession of CDS in the presence of a juvenile
Possession of schedule I drugs
Possession of schedule IV drugs
Possession of drug paraphernalia


Juvenile female, 17, was arrested on October 25, 2019 at 4:41 pm for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

A deputy was dispatched to a business on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista in reference to a shoplifting.  A witness observed Marshall put a jacket on herself and the female juvenile and walk out of the store. The deputy made contact with Marshall and the female juvenile.  Through further investigation, drugs were located.  Marshall was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.  The juvenile was released to her guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Samantha Shaw, 21, 14349 Old Spanish Trail, Paradis, La, was arrested on October 25, 2019 at 3:20 pm on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. 

Shaw was located at the St. Charles Parish Jail on the above-mentioned warrant.  She was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  No bond has been set.       

 

Lois Marie Thomas, 58, 130 Bray Lane, Franklin, La, was arrested on October 26, 2019 at 12:57 pm on the following charges:

Remaining on property without permission
Theft
Disturbing the peace by language
Resisting a police officer with force or violence
Threatening a public official
Battery on a police officer
Self-mutilation by a prisoner
Obstruction public passage


A deputy was dispatched to the area of the courthouse in reference to a theft that happened in the St. Joseph area.    Dispatch notified the deputy that the suspect had stolen a package from a residence, then arrived at the courthouse and cursed the dispatchers out and left.  Thomas had previously been warned not to return to the property where the theft occurred.  The deputy made contact with Thomas on the corner of Second and Caffery Street in Franklin.  Thomas was stopped talking to someone in a vehicle and would not let them pass, holding up traffic.  When asked, Thomas admitted to taking the package.  When the deputy tried to handcuff her, she pulled away, cursing at the deputy.  Thomas became irate, screaming and kicking as she resisted, threatening to kill deputies.  Once in the unit, Thomas began kicking the cage divider of the unit and attempted to kick out the window.  While trying to better restrain Thomas, she spat on a deputy.  Thomas was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.  Thomas continued to fight with deputies and try to harm herself.  No bond has been set. 

 


Derrick Dwayne Druilhet, 41, 207 John Street, Baldwin, La, was arrested on October 27, 2019 at 6:39 pm for disturbing the peace, resisting arrest or officer and remaining on property without permission. 

A deputy was dispatched to a business on Lake Palourde Road in Amelia in regards to removing a subject.  Upon arrival, the deputy spoke to a witness who stated Druilhet was causing a disturbance, yelling at another subject.  Druilhet was asked several times to leave the business but refused.  Upon being placed in the unit, Druilhet resisted and refused to get in the unit.  He was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond was set at $3,000.

 

Rosella Elizabeth Voisin, 30, 107 Lambert Lane, Bayou Vista, La, was arrested on October 27, 2019 at 9:15 pm on a warrant for failure to appear. 

A deputy was dispatched to a business on Highway 182 in the Amelia area in reference to a welfare concern.  Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Voisin.  It was learned that there was an active warrant for her arrest.  Voisin was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond was set at $1,163.

 

Aaron Joseph Johnson, 34, 1207 Third Street, Patterson, La, was arrested on October 27, 2019 at 3:13 am for the following charges:

License plate lights required
Driving under suspension
Possession of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Stop signs and yield signs
No insurance
 

A deputy was patrolling the area of Southeast Boulevard and Highway 182 when he observed a vehicle travelling without and operational license plate light.  A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, Johnson.  Through the stop, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located.  It was also learned that Johnson had a suspended driver's license and two active warrants for his arrest through the Morgan City Police Department.  Johnson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bond was set at $5,303.50.

 

David Wayne Mire, 43, 220 Glenwood Street, Morgan City, La, was arrested on October 27, 2019 at 8:49 am for possession of cocaine, possession of controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone and possession of controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a person under 17 years old. 

A deputy was flagged down in reference to a welfare concern in the Amelia area.  During the course of the investigation, contact with made with Mire on St. Marie Alley.  While speaking with Mire, drugs were located.  It was learned that there were children present in the residence where Mire was located.  St. Marie Alley is less than 2,000 from multiple churches, a school and the library.  Mire was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.  No bond has been set.

 

Bryan Keith Faulk, 35, 178 Village Lane, Amelia, La, was arrested on October 27, 2019 at 4:24 pm for improper lane usage and driving under suspension. 

A deputy patrolling the area of Barrow Street in Amelia observed a vehicle cross the double yellow line. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, Faulk.  Through the stop, it was learned that Faulk's driver's license was suspended.  Faulk was released on a summons to appear on January 10, 2020.

 

Oscar Scott, 32, 1624 Mayon Street, # 2, Morgan City, La, was arrested on October 27, 2019 at 9:03 pm for possession of marijuana and driving on roadway laned for traffic. 

A deputy was patrolling the area of Highway 182 West when he observed a vehicle cross the center line.  A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, Scott.  Through the stop, drugs were located.  Scott was released on a summons to appear on January 10, 2020.

 

 

K9 DIVISION

 

Joseph Butler James, 38, 813 Iberia Street, Franklin, La, was arrested on October 27, 2019 at 7:40 pm for the following charges:

Speeding 11 to 15 mph
Driving under suspension
Possession of marijuana
Possession of schedule II drug w/intent to distribute
Possession of cocaine w/intent to distribute
Possession of schedule II drug w/intent to distribute
Possession of schedule I drug w/intent to distribute
 

Ashley Marie Adams, 35, 728 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, La, was arrested on October 27, 2019 at 7:40 pm for the following charges:

Possession of cocaine w/intent to distribute
Possession of schedule II drugs w/intent to distribute
Possession of schedule I drugs w/intent to distribute
Introduction of contraband into a penal institution
 

A K9 patrolling Highway 182 observed a vehicle travelling over the posted speed limit.  A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, James, and the passenger, Adams.  Through the stop, drugs were located.  It was also learned that James was driving under suspension.  James and Adams were both transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Upon being booked, additional drugs were located on Adams person.  No bond was set on James or Adams. 

 

Morgan Sullivan, 25, 1432 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, La, was arrested on October 27, 2019 at 8:11 pm for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

A deputy was patrolling the area of Northwest Boulevard in Franklin, La, when he observed a vehicle cross over the center fog line.  A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver and passenger, Sullivan.  Through the stop, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located.  Sullivan was released on a summons to appear on January 10, 2020.
