Arrest Report, November 13, 2019

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 24 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Chance Colbert Joseph Boudreaux, 25, 427 North Sterling Street, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on November 13, 2019, at 10:54 pm for driving on roadway laned for traffic, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A deputy was patrolling the area of Highway 182 near Berwick when he observed a vehicle cross the fog line several times.  The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Boudreaux. Through the stop, drugs and drug paraphernalia were found.  Boudreaux was arrested and released on a summons to appear on February 7, 2019.

 

Robert Charles Rabb, 43, 106 Billiot Lane, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on November 13, 2019, at 1:04 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family.

A deputy was conducting building checks in the area of South and Field Road when he observed a subject that he knew held an active warrant for his arrest. The deputy made contact with the subject, Rabb, and advised him of the active warrant. Rabb was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.  Bail was set at $1,157.

 

K9 DIVISION

Kimberly Marie Bergeron, 28, 103 Sunnyside Lane, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 12, 2019, at 7:10 pm on the following charges:

-        Turning movements and required signals

-        Possession of schedule II drugs (2 counts)

-        Possession of drug paraphernalia

-        Possession of CDS in the presence of person under age 17

A deputy was patrolling Highway 90 East near Patterson when he observed a vehicle fail to give a proper signal. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Bergeron. During the stop, a K9 deputy arrived on the scene and K9 Vickie was deployed for an open-air sniff, in which she showed a positive response on the vehicle. Drugs were subsequently located in the vehicle. Bergeron was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking and was later released on a $1,500 bond.
