St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that a joint operation between the Morgan City Police Department, St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office, and Louisiana Probation and Parole.

On Tuesday morning, November 19, a joint operation called "Deja Vu" was conducted in St. Mary Parish. During the operation, arrest warrants for subjects were served in a multi-jurisdictional operation throughout the parish.  These subjects are wanted for distribution of drugs and drug other drug charges in St. Mary Parish. During the operation, several parole violators were also located and arrested.

Sheriff Blaise Smith would like to thank the following agencies for their participation and cooperation in Deja Vu:

Franklin Police Department

New Iberia Police Department

Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office

Terrebonne Sheriff's Office

Louisiana State Probation & Parole

State Attorney General's Office

Thibodaux Police Department

Between the agencies of SMPSO, MCPD, and LA Probation and Parole, a total of 47 arrests were made.

The following arrests were SMPSO warrant arrests that were made during the operation.

 

Thomas St. Germain, 27, 707 Marshall Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 7:11 am on two warrants for the charges of possession of marijuana (2 counts), violation of a CDS law, possession of a CDS in the presence of a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia, and turning signal required. No bail has been set.

 

Joseph Collins, 24, 2503 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 7:14 am on a warrant for distribution of crack cocaine and violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone). Bail was set at $21,500.

 

Devon Edward Marsh, 27, 1048 Ciro Street, Siracusaville, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 6:32 am on a warrant for distribution of crack cocaine and violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone). Bail was set at $101,500.

 

Kirk Edmond, 50, 111 School House Lane, Charenton, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 7:00 am on a warrant for distribution of crack cocaine and violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone). Bail was set at $41,500.

 

Jarvis Granger, 33, 1004 Joseph Street, Siracusaville, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 6:25 am on a warrant for distribution of crack cocaine and violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone) and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and principal to distribution of cocaine. No bail has been set.

 

Shaddrick Neddie, 43, 1038 James Street, Siracusaville, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 6:35 am on a warrant for distribution of marijuana, violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone x 2), possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $58,410.28.

 

Jason Gaskins, 37, 133 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 5:50 am on four warrants for the charges of distribution of cocaine, violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone), criminal neglect of family (x2), and probation violation. Bail was set at $53,253.58.

 

Wayne Clark, 47, 165 Lenny's Lane, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 6:10 am on a warrant for the charges of distribution of cocaine and violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone). Bail was set at $151,500.

 

Dayton Clark, 47, 158 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 5:48 am on two warrants for the charges of distribution of schedule I (marijuana) and violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone). Bail was set at $11,500.

 

Deondre Richardson, 22, 170 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 5:36 am on two warrants for the charges of distribution of schedule I (marijuana) and violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone). Bail was set at $11,500.

 

Christopher Singleton, 33, 154 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 5:50 am on a warrant for the charges of distribution of crack cocaine. Bail was set at $20,000.

 

Jackie Robertson, 56, 258 Jones Road, Four Corners, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 6:18 am on a warrant for the charges of distribution of marijuana. Bail was set at $40,000.

 

Jerrell Darbigny, 36, 225 Happy Acres Lane, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 7:40 am on a warrant for the charges of distribution of crack cocaine, and violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone). Bail was set at $50,000.

 

Dexter Nerve, 32, 141 Roy's Lane, Centerville, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 9:00 am on a warrant for probation violation. No bail has been set.

 

Demarcus S. Roy, 27, 312 Como Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 9:00 am on a warrant for probation violation. No bail has been set.

 

Deandre Austin, 26, 207 Mitchell Street, St. Joseph, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 9:00 am on a warrant for the charges of possession of schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of schedule I (MDMA) with intent to distribute, Possession of schedule IV (Xanax) with intent to distribute, possession of a CDS in the presence of a minor (3 counts), possession of firearm in the presence of a CDS, transactions involving drug proceeds, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Calvin L. Mitchell, Jr., 48, 108 Richard Street, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 9:45 am on four warrants for distribution of marijuana, violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone), and criminal neglect of family (3 counts). Bail was set at $76, 928.02.

Cedric Griffin, 40, 607 Park Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 8:28 am on a warrant for distribution of marijuana and violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone). Bail was set at $6,500.

 

Michael Jack, 48, 1146 Highway 83, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 8:18 am on a warrant for distribution of crack cocaine. Bail was set at $10,000.

 

Gwendolyn D. Trim, 60, 426 Taft Street, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2019, at 8:18 am on a warrant for distribution of crack cocaine. Bail was set at $10,000.
