Arrest Report, January 7, 2020

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 29 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Lee Michael Boudreaux, 44, 225 North Verret Street, Amelia, LA, was arrested on January 6, 2019, at 12:42 pm on a warrant for domestic abuse battery.

Sonia Maria Todd, 41, 120 Shannon Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on January 6, 2019, at 12:42 pm for possession of a legend drug without prescription.

A deputy patrolling the area of North Verret Street in Amelia observed a vehicle being driven by Lee Boudreaux, who the deputy knew held an active warrant.  The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with Boudreaux and a passenger, Todd. During the stop, Todd was in possession of a legend drug for which she had no prescription. Todd was arrested and released on a summons to appear on May 1, 2020. Boudreaux was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $2,500.

 

Hodary Segura, 39, 2222 Westerland Drive, Houston, TX, was arrested on January 6, 2019, at 8:15 pm for illegal mufflers and possession of legend drug without prescription.

A deputy traveling on Brashear Avenue in Morgan City observed a vehicle with a modified exhaust system. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Segura. During the stop, Segura was in possession of a legend drug for which he had no prescription. Segura was arrested and released on a summons to appear on May 1, 2020.

 

Steven James Morris, 33, 119 Percy Street, Amelia, LA, was arrested on January 7, 2019, at 6:16 am for domestic abuse battery.

Ashley Morris, 33, 125 Sun Road, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on January 7, 2019, at 6:16 am for domestic abuse battery.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence on Percy Street in reference to a domestic abuse battery. Through the investigation, the deputy made contact with Steven Morris, Ashley Morris, and a witness and learned that they had been in an altercation. S. Morris and A.Morris were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $2,500 for both of them.
