Arrest Report- January 17, 2020

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 29 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Terri Leondranique Lee Freeman, 24, 1815 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on January 16, 2020, at 9:27 am for driving under suspension.  Freeman was released on a summons to appear on May 1, 2020.

Thomas Stansbury, 30, 179 Mars Street Street, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on January 16, 2020, at 8:57 am on two MCPD warrants for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. Stansbury was transferred to another agency.

Devontae Gabriel, 24, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 16, 2020, at 7:35 pm on a warrant for battery-simple. Gabriel was released on a $2,500 bond.

Brooke Elizabeth Henman, 30, 2602 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, LA, was arrested on January 16, 2020, at 10:12 pm on an Arkansas Probation and Parole warrant for probation violation. Henman is being held for another agency.

Joshua Michael Essex, 26, 227 Arlington Street, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on January 17, 2020, at 1:12 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery. No bail has been set.

 

NARCOTICS DIVISION

Kevon Favors, 20, 8519 Highway 90 Frontage Road, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 16, 2020, at 3:56 pm for possession of schedule I (synthetic marijuana).

Narcotics detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office were conducting a traffic stop on Highway 90 West near the Patterson Truck Stop when they made contact with a passenger in the vehicle, identified as Favors. Through the investigation, a bag of synthetic marijuana belonging to Favors was located. Favors was arrested and released on a summons to appear on May 1, 2020.
