St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 44 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Juvenile male, 15, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on January 22, 2020, at 7:54 am for disturbing the peace by language. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Leo Green, Jr., 54, 168 Verdun Lane, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 22, 2020, at 11:22 am for turning movements and signals required, stop signs and yield signs, no driver's license on person, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $1,215.

Devin Marcel Landry, 25, 993 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, LA, was arrested on January 22, 2020, at 1:31 pm for battery-simple, assault-aggravated, and threatening a public official.  Bail was set at $5,000.

Allen Romar, 49, 2520 Pelican Court, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on January 22, 2020, at 1:10 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled, operating a vehicle not covered by security, and operating a vehicle with improper headlamps. Romar was released on a summons to appear on May 1, 2020.

Miranda Topham, 38, 1311 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on January 22, 2020, at 1:48 pm for on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of battery of a dating partner. Bail was set at $2,500.

Corey Edward Jupiter, 28, 504 Owens Street, Napoleonville, LA, was arrested on January 22, 2020, at 3:50 pm for on a Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office warrant for failure to appear on the charge of contempt of court. Jupiter is being held for another agency.

Jonathan Ray Beadle, 29, 125 Southwest Road, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on January 22, 2020, at 5:20 pm for on a warrant for monetary instrument abuse.  Beadle was released on a $2,000 bond.

Ashlee Allan Miller, Sr., 39, 1909 Pine Street, LA, was arrested on January 23, 2020, at 12:25 am for driving under suspension, signal lamps and signal devices, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $5,554.37.
