St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Steven Wayne Davis, 44, 729 Versen Street, Berwick, LA, was arrested on January 30, 2020, at 9:04 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled and operating a vehicle with improper headlamps. Davis was additionally charged for driving under suspension, insurance required, wrong way on a one-way road, and switched license plate. No bail has been set.

Melvin Charles Willis, Jr., 48, 321 Talbot Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 30, 2020, at 10:31 am for driving under suspension and turning movements and signals required. Willis was released on a summons to appear on May 1, 2020.

Tashalyn K'von Foster, 21, 156 St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 30, 2020, at 12:08 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of aggravated battery. Foster was released on a $5,000 bond.

Dearius Deshawn Kenner, 32, 1306 Eleventh Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on January 30, 2020, at 2:32 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. No bail has been set.

Juvenile male, 15, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on January 30, 2020, at 5:26 pm for disturbing the peace by language and entry/remaining on premises after being forbidden. The juvenile was released to a guardian.

Dustin Blair Lowe, Sr., 34, 900 Orange Grove, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on January 30, 2020, at 5:27 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery/child present. Lowe was released on a $1,000 bond.

Dawnelle Michelle Small, 35, 1777 Jessica Lane, Lake Charles, LA, was arrested on January 30, 2020, at 11:19 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft of less than $1,000. No bail has been set.

Harley Marie Campo, 25, 245 Jamie Court, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 31, 2020, at 2:53 am for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Campo was released on a summons to appear on May 1, 2020.

NARCOTICS DIVISION

Derek M. Gaskins, 39, 151 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA, was arrested on January 30, 2020, at 2:32 pm on a warrant for the charges of distribution of schedule II (crack cocaine), resisting an officer, and violation of a CDS law (drug-free zone). Gaskins was additionally charged for resisting an officer. No bail has been set.

Mark A. Robin, Jr., 35, 1607 Cynthia Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 30, 2020, at 4:10 pm on a warrant for the charge of criminal neglect of family. Robin was also charged with the following:

• No turn signal
• Obstruction of justice
• Possession of schedule I marijuana
• Possession of schedule II methamphetamine with intent to distribute
• Driving under suspension
