St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Robert Keith Deville, 31, 5709 Highway 14, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on February 3, 2020, at 3:22 pm for possession of schedule IV drugs, sale, distribution, or possession of legend drug without a prescription, and driving on roadway laned for traffic. Deville was released on a $1,500 bond.

Debra Lynn Budd, 57, 416 Duke Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 3, 2020, at 4:13 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana and issuing worthless checks. Bail was set at $5,500.

Elijah Westley, 20, 406 C L Smith, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on February 3, 2020, at 5:45 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. Westley was released on a $1,500 bond.

Courtney Jamal Richardson, 34, 106 West Third Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 3, 2020, at 7:30 pm for criminal damage to property-simple and resisting arrest or officer. Richardson was charged and continues to be incarcerated.

Ronald W. Aucoin, Jr., 40, 206 Levee Road, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 3, 2020, at 11:33 pm for no license plate light, no seat belt, and driving under suspension. Aucoin was released on a summons to appear on May 18, 2020.

Michael Ray Walker, 32, 776 Parish Road 131, Centerville, LA, was arrested on February 4, 2020, at 2:34 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of violation of a protective order. No bail has been set.

 

NARCOTICS DIVISION

Marquis Brown, 27, 109 Edward Lane, Four Corners, LA, was arrested on February 3, 2020, at 5:37 pm for possession of schedule I (marijuana). Brown was released on a summons to appear on May 18, 2020.

Shamus M. Dardeau, 44, 1280 Delmar Street, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on February 3, 2020, at 8:24 pm on the following charges:

• Resisting a police officer with force or violence
• Possession of schedule II drug
• Possession of schedule IV drug with intent to distribute
• Violation of uniform controlled dangerous substances law

No bail has been set.

Kim Butler, 38, 829 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 3, 2020, at 10:52 pm for resisting an officer. Butler was released on a $2,500 bond.
