St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Christopher Sylvester, Jr. 23, 717 Versa Street, Berwick, LA, was arrested on February 18, 2020, at 3:46 pm for battery-second degree. Sylvester continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

Deonte Devon Harris, 22, 2606 Clines Lane, Amelia, LA, was arrested on February 18, 2020, at 10:14 am for illegal mufflers, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Harris was released on a summons to appear on May 18, 2020.

 

NARCOTICS DIVISION

Jacob Zirlott, 38, 1057 Cayce Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 18, 2020, at 8:01 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute
• Possession of schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute
• Violation of CDS law, drug-free zone
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Obstruction of justice
• Transactions involving drug proceeds

Roni M. Landry, 31, 1057 Cayce Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 18, 2020, at 8:01 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute
• Possession of schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute
• Violation of CDS law, drug-free zone
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
