St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 94 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Eddie Lee Brown, IV, 46, 1370 Joseph Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 28, 2020, at 10:50 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of distribution of cocaine.  No bail has been set.

Leroy James Colbert, 69, 333 North Branch Street, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on February 28, 2020, at 9:03 pm for no headlights and driving while intoxicated-1st offense. Colbert was released on a $2,750 bond.

Christopher James Newsom, 34, 43153 Pell Court, Hammond, LA, was arrested on February 28, 2020, at 9:47 pm for stop signs and yield signs, possession of schedule I drugs, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Newsom was released on a $7,750 bond.

Steve Anthony Berryhill, 49, 608 Kelli Drive, Patterson, LA, was arrested on February 28, 2020, at 11:15 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.  No bail has been set.

Jacob Hayden Plache, 21, 115 Ashland Drive, Luling, LA, was arrested on February 29, 2020, at 4:11 am for no headlights, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Plache was released on a $3,750 bond.

Jeffrey Lee Schexnider, 40, 421 Southeast Blvd., Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on February 29, 2020, at 7:57 pm for no tail lights and driving under suspension. Schexnider was released on a summons to appear on May 18, 2020.

Charles Madison Rhodes, 52, 1249 Narrow Street, Thibodaux, LA, was arrested on February 29, 2020, at 11:01 pm for license plate lights required and driving under suspension. Rhodes was released on a $1,250 bond.

Anyia Amelia Francois, 32, 1134 Levee Road, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 29, 2020, at 11:29 pm for improper lane usage and driving under suspension. Francois was released on a summons to appear on May 18, 2020.

Ronald Paul Mendoza, 34, 759 Pepper Road, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on March 1, 2020, at 1:14 am for speeding and driving while intoxicated-1st offense. Mendoza was released on a $3,000 bond.

Kody Joseph Champagne, 38, 15642 Highway 182, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 1, 2020, at 11:15 am for domestic abuse child endangerment law. Champagne was released on a $2,500 bond.

Tommy Peyton Jones, 36, 311 Wayside Drive, Houma, LA, was arrested on March 1, 2020, at 1:18 pm on a Terrebonne Parish warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft. Jones is being held for another agency.

Logan Francis Broussard, 20, 4211 Pickette Road, Erath, LA, was arrested on March 1, 2020, at 3:53 pm for reckless operation-no accident. Broussard was released on a $500 bond.

Angela Marie Daigle, 53, 807 Leola Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 2, 2020, at 7:40 pm for theft. Daigle was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Joseph Jerry Julien, 54, 214 Arizona Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 1, 2020, at 9:49 pm on an MCPD warrant for failure to appear on the charge of failure to pay probation fee. Julien is being held for another agency.

Jamishia Richelle Jenkins, 31, 830 Canal Street, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on March 1, 2020, at 10:08 pm for license plate lights required, turning movements and required signals, driving under suspension, and no insurance.  Jenkins was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Calab Laurance Mitchell, 23, 202 Windcreek Lane, Youngsville, LA, was arrested on March 2, 2020, at 12:43 pm for obstructing public passage and driving under suspension. Mitchell was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Johnathan Lewis Diggs, 29, 163 Roy's Lane, Centerville, LA, was arrested on March 2, 2020, at 3:49 pm for license plate lights required and driving under suspension. Diggs was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.
