St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 115 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Shannon Gail Wright, 29, 116 Pecan Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 6, 2020, at 7:22 pm for disturbing the peace by language. Bail was set at $500.

 

 

Jason Paul Segura, 34, 6706 Highway 14, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on March 6, 2020, at 11:47 pm on a warrant for theft and on the following charges:

-        Possession of CDS in the presence of person under 17 years old

-        Possession of schedule II drugs

-        Possession of a firearm-felon

-        Possession of a firearm in the presence of CDS

Nicole Leigh Babin, 31, 7176 Grand Caillou Road, Dulac, LA, was arrested on March 6, 2020, at 11:47 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia and expired license plate.

Deputies were dispatched to a business in Centerville in reference to possible narcotics use in a vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputies made contact with the driver, identified as Segura and a female passenger, identified as Babin. Through the investigation, dispatch advised that Segura held an active warrant for theft. The warrant stems from an incident in 2017 in which items had been taken from a camp in the Cypremort Point area. Deputies found drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a gun in the vehicle which was also occupied by four children. Babin was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020. Segura was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Segura was later released on a $20,000 bond.

 

 

Jasmene Galliano, 30, 6859 Tom Hebert Road, Lake Charles, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2020, at 2:25 am for driving under suspension. Galliano was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Wranson Jefferson, 50, 317 Triple Oak Street, Raceland, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2020, at 2:26 am for proper equipment required on vehicles, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jefferson was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Dwayne M. Lewis, 46, 300 Wilcox Street, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2020, at 3:31 am for driving under suspension. Lewis was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Armond Connor, 19, 1853 Highway 83, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2020, at 11:18 am for obstruction to driver's view, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Connor was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Micheal Burden, 21, 308 Flattown Road, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2020, at 12:55 am for illegal use of weapons or dangerous weapons, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Burden was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Devante Joseph, 20, 945 Flattown Road, Charenton, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2020, at 12:55 am for illegal use of weapons or dangerous weapons, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Joseph was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Tory Kentrell Jasper, 42, 143 Tulane Street, Houma, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2020, at 11:34 am for possession of schedule I with intent to distribute, possession of schedule I, and driving under suspension. Jasper was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Thien The Tran, 31, 3025 Mark Drive, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 7, 2020, at 8:18 pm for possession of marijuana and reckless operation no accident. Tran was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Alan Granger, 35, 1004 Joseph Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 8, 2020, at 1:18 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of speeding. Granger was released on a paid fine.

April Lynn Aucoin, 39, 146 Cremo Lane, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 8, 2020, at 12:29 pm for possession of schedule II drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

-        Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle

-        Theft of $1,000 or more but less than $5,000

-        Resisting an officer

-        Possession of methamphetamine

-        Possession of alprazolam

-        Possession of clonazepam

No bail has been set.

Tajuan Makeith Gibson, Sr., 36, 2155 Highway LA 83, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 8, 2020, at 12:47 pm for general speed law, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Gibson was released on a paid fine.

Quinton T. Charles, 31, 315 Provost Road, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on March 8, 2020, at 12:41 pm for possession of marijuana and driving on roadway lined for traffic. Charles was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Tariq Jamel Perry, 20, 905 Willow Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 9, 2020, at 8:55 pm for possession of marijuana. Perry was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.

Isiah Logwood, 21, 907 Willow Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 9, 2020, at 8:55 pm for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Logwood was released on a summons to appear on June 29, 2020.
