St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Megan Elise Soulet, 29, 541 David Road, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on April 1, 2020, at 3:54 pm for illegal possession of stolen firearms. No bail has been set.

Juvenile male, 17, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on April 1, 2020, at 5:15 pm for illegal possession of stolen firearms. The juvenile was released to the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
