Arrest Report- April 27, 2020

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 71 complaints and reports the following arrests:


Carlos Andrew Alvis, 36, 700 Linda Ann Street, Gray, LA, was arrested on April 24, 2020, at 3:09 pm for disturbing the peace by language, resisting arrest or officer, and driving on roadway laned for traffic. Alvis was released on a summons to appear on June 27, 2020.


Jimmy Luke Daigle, 46, 618 Thompson Road, Houma, LA, was arrested on April 25, 2020, at 8:30 pm on the following charges:

  • No headlights
  • Open container
  • Possession of methamphetamines
  • Possession of marijuana

Daigle was also arrested on a St. Mary Parish warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of a schedule II CDS (methamphetamine) and an Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office warrant for theft. No bail has been set.


Marcus Dewayne Battle, 45, 1605 Plum Street, Patterson, LA, was arrested on April 26, 2020, at 1:53 pm for improper lane usage and driving under suspension. Battle was released on a summons to appear on June 27, 2020.


Thomas Devin Remedies, 27, 215 Belanger Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 26, 2020, at 6:45 pm for theft. Remedies was released on a summons to appear on June 27, 2020.


Adam Joseph Guillory, 36, 191 Elaine Street, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 26, 2020, at 7:35 pm for disturbing the peace by fighting. Guillory was released on a summons to appear on June 27, 2020.


Robert Herschel Strother, 25, 957 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, LA, was arrested on April 26, 2020, at 7:35 pm for disturbing the peace by fighting. Strother was released on a summons to appear on June 27, 2020.


INTERDICTION SECTION


Travis Laron Johnson, Jr., 44, 714 Utah Street, Berwick, LA, was arrested on April 24, 2020, at 2:00 pm for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana.


A deputy working drug interdiction on Highway 90 conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver and a passenger, identified as Johnson. Through the investigation, drugs were found on Johnson's person. Johnson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Johnson was released on a $2,500 bond.
