St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 24 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Ty Joseph Chauvin, 22, 185 Chauvin Lane, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 5, 2020, at 8:32 pm for possession of marijuana. Chauvin was released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.  

Joshua James Folks, 42, 203 Lacy Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 5, 2020, at 4:11 pm for expired or no inspection sticker, driving under suspension, and switched license plate/stolen license plate. Folks was released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.  

Jeremy Lee Housley, 38, 215 Lacy Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 5, 2020, at 4:11 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia.  Housley was released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.  

Tylan Trevon Gray, 19, 1707 Pine Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 5, 2020, at 10:51 pm for possession of marijuana. Gray was released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.  

Stephen Edward Taylor, 36, 417 Teche Road, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on May 5, 2020, at 5:48 pm for criminal damage to property-simple. No bail has been set.
