St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 96-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 150 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Brittany Nicole Morgan, 29, 2330 River Road, Berwick, LA, was arrested on May 22, 2020, at 11:18 am on an MCPD warrant for failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace and contempt of court. Morgan was transported to another agency.

Stanley James Butler, Jr., 41, 1441 Mitchell Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 23, 2020, at 12:31 am for reckless operation-no accident. Butler was released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.

Briani Lashea Doucet, 23, 188 Durio Street, Sunset, LA, was arrested on May 23, 2020, at 7:11 pm for possession of marijuana and resisting arrest or officer. Doucet was later released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.

Shanna Whitfield, 25, 501 Avenue E, Victoria, TX, was arrested on May 24, 2020, at 1:03 pm for cruelty to animals. Whitfield was released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.

Melissa Verrett, Frangenberg, 53, 8800 Highway 182, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 24, 2020, at 11:47 am for improper lane usage and possession of marijuana. Frangenberg was released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.

Moises Henriquez Duarte, 43, 114 West Syls Lane, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 24, 2020, at 1:56 pm for improper lane usage, driving while intoxicated-1st offense, and open container. Bail was set at $2,500.

 

K9 SECTION

Leslie Ann Bonvillian, 40, 3407 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, LA, was arrested on May 23, 2020, at 1:48 pm for possession of marijuana. Bonvillian was released on a summons to appear on August 21, 2020.
